Hi! Thank you for watching my video❤️ It's hard to pinpoint the exact peak foliage period because the forecast varies every year. According to Livejapan, the foliage is likely to occur around Oct 21-31 in Jozankei Onsen.

Yes! They have a bus from Jozankei bus station/Jozankei Tourist Information Centre to the Dam, I recommend to go Jazankei Onsen early and check out the bus timetable there. If I remember, you can reserve a bus slot there as well❤️
