- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic! After playing with a preview of the upcoming bouncy block mod, I decided to really put the mod and game to the test and release hundreds of these things surrounded by walls made of the same material. There was the usual amount of insanity.

There are a few mods that you may consider using:
World cleaner mod has a world cleaner block destroys everything when you press E. Or a certain type of block. Can be used to get rid of the lag quickly or remove scaffolding.
The Modpack has a gravity modulator that allows you to fly. It whould allow you to set up the balls because they wouldn't fall until you turned on the gravity. It also allows you to travel fast.
The scrap guard. Helps you when you try to build something that could explode or fly away from you.
I would understand if you don't use them to have a certain spirit to your videos, but they can improve live in certain situations.
That would be awesome, but sounds kinda laggy in and of itself

Many be you can use it at like darts or something like that
20:55 Like a flying challenge. No engines or thrusters, your plane just have to be made out of the bouncy blocks and of course of the things needed to make it glide. And then you can make various glider challenges maybe even a race, where you have to go through loops, and every checkpoint, there is a bouncy wall to push you into the air. I hope you like my idea.

Hovercraft race with bombs on the ground,
Car checkpoint race,
Airplane Obstacle Gate Race with 1 hour build time.
Or make a no bearing race with a 30 min time limit
Or an only thrusters race ( the vehicle is only use thrusters for movement and thrusters as wheels )
Or make a beyblade battle.

flubber dart challenge:
how it works: build a creation with flubber arm on one end and a bomb on the other. then,with your creation, you bounce off a flubber wall at a target. the target has 2-4 circles each worth a certain number of points (you decide the points) the player has to aim their explosive end at the target and hit it if the bomb explodes it counts as a hit and the person gets the points that have the explosive radius touching it take turns.
Objective: first to 10 points wins
rules: no thrusters or glitches and any other rules you want
tiebreaker or bonus round: large targets and you get to use nukes!

Scrapman, this is doable (somewhat). You just need to make the walls much, MUCH thicker.
Disclaimer: wall may not need to be as thick as advertised. Also, if you only make the inner layer out of flubber then the wall will have less bounce to it, and as such the balls inside will last longer.
That bouncy bumper in the end is a pretty si,ple and effective self-right device! Great discovery!
Potential idea: remember the explosive cannons you and kAN made for the castle siege video? With the wall of sound guns, with a layer of cardboard, then the projectile(s)? What if instead of explosives, you use the bouncy balls...this would enable the balls to be launched sideways in the box...
I suggest that you build like a bowling alley and as a bowling ball you have to build a small, drivable car to use as a bowling ball...
But the trick is, that you have to drive away from the bowling alley, hit a bouncywall with the car (like you did in the video) and bounce back to knock down/score as many pins as possible...
Or just hit a target... that might work to...
Backwards darts. You drive a dart into a wall of bounce and get launched the other direction. This is were you put the board, to make it interesting you could put the board behind a hill.
Bouncy wheel race or a bouncy lance jousting (loose if flipped) perhaps even a bouncy battle on an elevated arena with last man standing wins. You could also do a bouncy olympics
Multiplayer ideas.
No engine race, just jet for foward and a spear of flubber to ram into a wall to travel.
Long distance challenge. Similar idea, you just focus on distance in one run.
Frog hopping style race. Flubber must make contact with ground to propel, light use of wheel for gyroscope uses.
Jousting with flubber tips .... should be some good laughs.
Pogo stick mess around .... I mean it was a channel meme for a while. Make some varients of suspension and design or race design them.
Flubber feet with a helicopter wing. So you spin and bounce all over the place could be fun or might just act like a parachute. Might slow down too quick. Wont know without trying.
Make a small box or ball of flubber with concrete inside 1 layer and a seat and get in, ride it see what happens!
For multiplayer monday: Joust but with bouncy balls or blocks at the edge.

Two ideas for multiplayer- first obviously has to be bumper cars in an arena. Just some dumb fun, last one still in the arena wins or something like that, maybe something your bumper cars on ice thing. Second though is you make a ""hockey puck" out of flubber, then with vehicles with "hockey sticks" you all play hockey. Bonus idea if you want to do one v. ones, you put an invisible seat on the puck and do tournament style with the third guy being the puck. You know you wanna! :)
Ultra large bouncy bumper cars. Use normal block but line the edges with flubber you chose which one to use. But then it is an area with flubber patches on the edges and getting bounced out means you are now a spectator of this unbelievable sport.
I used to do something similar with an old wii game called 'boomblox bash party'
there was a space map with 0-g and you could build with an immovable wall type. I built a little room and chucked the 'bouncy ball' projectile into a little opening. this caused a positive feedback loop of bouncing, kind of like these flubber balls, but the ball kept inside the little room and bounced around like mad.

Reverse direction darts? Use a raised platform to get a lifted bounce to then fling your dart at targets?
Or maybe make a ridable projectile you have to ricochet through a course minigolf/frisbee golf style?

Multiplayer Challenge:
Build a car with a massive bouncy spike in front of you.
Ram each other out of an arena.
OR
Ram into a bouncy wall and see who flies the furthest.
So Bumper car with Flubber?
Another MM idea:
Very small map, many flubber balls jumping all over the place, and a race with 'planes' in no gravity. (maybe with bombs on the 'planes'.)
I wonder if adding a third, non-bouncy, layer to the outside of the room would have helped with all the clipping issues, both because it's another layer and because it wouldn't apply its own acceleration to the balls. Actually, maybe one bouncy layer and two normal ones would have been even better.
Also, I bet you could have gotten more interesting results if you made the surfaces less uniform, so the balls would all impact at different angles.

You should try to make a BIG flubberbal, where you can put a seat in
Noticed something, the balls down bounce on walls, so if you made the ceiling out of metal, they "might" not glitch through, as they get the acceleration from the bound and gravity.
For MM make a no gravity map then create a giant room make your cars our of bouncy material with some explosives, then use a spawned and a repel block to shoot the other players. The twist is if you miss it can bounce back at you.
You need to do the rope challenge (were your tied to the other players) and make the sides of your vehicle flubber
Trampoline challenge:
A course with individual flubber platforms where you need to build a vehicle that can bounce from platform to platform to reach the goal. All vehicles would have a timed thruster circuit so you have a little bit of maneuverability in the air. Six or so thrusters would be ideal, (4 front & back, 2 on the sides)
MM idea:
Vehicle race with flubber as your only form of propulsion.
You could make a module that spawns a flubber ball, using the block spawners, and then push it into a flubber block on your vehicle, and using the bounce to move forward.
You could also use the flubber to build tank projectiles.

concept for MM: driving a vehicle with a part of flubber against a wall of flubber.
1) drive straight to a flubber wall, with a sort of vehicle with jumping capability and you try to go the farthest or highest!
2) or similar to the skeeball MM episode: but instead of trying to go trough a hole on the board (out of flubber) you make the front(of the sled) out of flubber and try to get the best bounce on the board( this board can also be tilted) and try to make it the farthest.
Bounce plane- You bounce off the wall then tty to fly. But that would need some testing. Like so he can see.

Multiplayer Monday idea: you start the race by ramming into a bouncy wall using your concept or use it to get a plane in the air
we've seen this type of thing in your "raining bombs wall" videos...the spawners glitched and spawned parts of your vehicle, it the same thing here I think XD
Bouncy block launcher challenge? How far/high can you bounce against a static bouncy wall?
And game physics: it examines how each object is interacting with each other and adjusts their velocity according to the data of that frame; quite literally, if something is 1 block wide and can move 3 blocks away in 1 frame, it can "glitch" through a 2 block thick wall
MM IDEAS: shooting gallery, ski-ball but bouncing off the back wall for speed, or anti-gravity Tron but instead of bombs have Durf make a purple flubber spawner and make the cars out of (painted) purple flubber so when you hit the line you glitch out of the map.
I came up with a minigame using these:

Do a challenge where you're trying to see how far you can go by ramming two pieces of Flubber into each other (like how you did in the video).

You should make it so they don't bounce on the ceiling or walls so they dont shoot downwards through the ground. Also adding a few things on the floor that make it so they dont go straight up and down would make it better. Also as a challenge you could have 2 walls on opposite sides of the map and you gotta tap both of them then get to the finish line and they launch you towards the next one.
You could use the blocks to make a pogo stick. Feels like something that would be fun

If you decide to use the bouncy material as walls, you want to make the walls really thick so it wouldn’t be able to glitch through and fly off
3rd MM idea:
No gravity, the 3d round arena but covered with explosives (safe distance gaps like in the ice bumper car MM (i hope it wont be so laggy)), and the flyers with bouncy block exterior.
It would be funny watching the different designs of rams. Like spear, wall, etc
Do a launching challenge, where you see which player launches them selves the farthest by ramming into a wall. Mark on the ground each player, 3 rounds each. Whoever gets the furthest bounce launch wins!

You should make the cube again, but this time, have concrete and/or metal on the outside of it 1, so the room doesn't bounce and 2, so that when the bounce blocks hit it, they lose their momentum, and return to the inside of the cube.

build a medium to high platform with a bouncy base at the bottom of it on a slight angle and you all have to make a bouncy car/whatever to aim for targets for points aha thursters allowed for a little bit of extra control because i bet you would be spinning like crazy!!!
