Great tips there Pete Man. A lot of viewers will definitely benefit from this. 👍 I think most Window Cleaners out there do struggle using the pole and not equally confident as using the tool in the hand, to get great professional results.
TRAD - MAN THE WINDOW CLEANER I was just complimenting you on your video. I’m pretty good at my pole work. 😉 That would be great for a catch up as it has been a while 👍
Maybe you could do a vid on how to avoid turn or skipmarks using the moerman setup. Would be highly appreciated, thanks 😉( am not a newbie using this setup )
@@hansdk6246 hmm sounds like your setup is fine. Must be a slight adjustment needed in technique. If you can send me a short video to either my TRAD-MAN Facebook page or my email mrtradman@hotmail.com and I'll identify the issue for you 😉
@@TradMan Thanks Buddy. The problem is that it occurs when trying to fan down the middle of the glass on the pole. I have no issues when using it in the hand.
Yes, there is, Wagtail highflyers and wagtail flippers do the same as the morman tool, then you can adjust angles on the Gardiner pole 😊 my current tools of choice 💖
Heya, yeah I've used it and my take on it is that it is poorly constructed and very basic, put it this way I have one for cleaning my shower door but I wouldn't use it for my business. Much better tools out there that are better quality and more options for the user. Wagatil is say like having an old fiat punto that is just barely held together, and having the excelerator from moerman is like an audi rs, better made and much more options for its driver 😊😉
Great tips as usual, Peter. I have tried your idea of trimming down the squeegee rubber from the 18" once the corners are rounded, to a 14 or 10 inch size. It hasn't worked for me as well as I had hoped. I will keep at it and see what the long term outcome is. Cheers, Duncan
@@McRaesWindowCleaning ah ok, yeah razor rubber can be hit and miss but also can be quite grippy on the glass. Have you tried Ettore master rubber before??
@@McRaesWindowCleaning if you can't get it where you are, window cleaning warehouse ship worldwide 👍🏻 and you can use the code TRADMAN10 to get 10% off anything you need from wcw. Hope that helps
@@TradMan yesterday I spent the day cleaning windows, 10 cm from the ground up to 220 cm; so the 4 foot pole with sleeve will save me fatigue, an 8 foot pole is also ok but heavier ; only 20 € for opti loc unger...
For these windows the angle arm is straight, no angle needed as there is no deep sill or ledge to get passed and the window is lower level. If this window was higher up and had a concrete sill below it then I might need to put the angle adaptor forward a few clicks to be able to close out properly on the window. Hope that makes sence
I appreciate your tips. You are obviously a legit and very experienced window cleaner and not just another lazy schill...!
Lol glad the videos are useful buddy 😅
nice video it;s good that you take time out so you can show other people that need help like myself thanks barry
All good buddy! 😊🤜🏻🤛🏻
Another fantastic video. The whole series you have done in speeding up have been really useful. Thanks Pete👍

Any chance you could do more with the pole but cleaning "normal" windows at height, what angle you'd use for various windows etc thanks 👍
Sure! 😊🤜🏻🤛🏻
Love the angle explanation! Thank you!!
Very welcome

Hey buddy! Are you putting soap on your applicator? What rubber do you use?
@@TradMan Yup soap on the mop/flig pad. The rubber is ettore soft (1417)

Peter are you still inserting a little screw to hold the excellerator fliq on to the phantom WFP.
Yeah buddy. Until they make a trad angle arm for the wfp with a locking button 👍🏻

Hi what kind of angle arm are you using?
Its a wfp angle arm with the moerman tool screwed to it

What brand of rubber are you using bud?
@@TradMan My favorite is the Facelift RazrRed rubber which we can now get in Australia.

do you use 4 feet poles (2x2) ?
My shortest pole is a phantom 8ft

what happens if you use a bran new piece of rubber i bought the unger rubber is that any good
New rubber can take a while to wear in or in other words glide nicely on the glass. Unger rubber is good yeah 😉
I plan to buying all this gear soon , what screw do you have attached from pole to fliq as i read below?
This video shows the pole setup up close 👍🏻

is that angle arm set to a position?

Just buy quality rubber that is climate appropriate.
