I was born in michoacan. I've been living in the states for 32 years now. My woman (Nigerian, mexican, Nicaraguan) and I have 2 kids together. I took them back home to my small town for the first time last year, brought me so much joy to know they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They all want to go back. I'm so proud of my hard working people and how welcoming and loving they are, so it brought tears to my eyes to know that my family loves my small town
Wow! nice to hear your story.. I was born here in Michoacan and my parents took me to California when I was 7 ...I came back to take care of them...and I opened this RUclips channel to show the world that Michoacan is a beautiful place...

Disculpame, pero no pude entender el segundo incrediente que le habia añadido en 5:55. ¿El dijo cala? Estoy perdido. Pensaba que el piloncillo no necesitaba otro ingrediente.

can you please tell me why panela is very hard not soft? i bought panela from walmat superstore in USA that one is also product of colombia, It looks a little dry with white patches. Can you please tell me what is the white patches?does it gone through any chemical process?please reply
it could possibly be some sort of oxidation, kind of like how when chocolate is left out it gets white spots! shouldn't affect the flavor, but i may be wrong. i just learned about piloncillo today! a family friend gave us some :)
My uncle lives in michoacon and he's a truck driver for sugar cane...great video!!

do you mix white sugar to make pilonchilo ?
It’s made of sugar canes
thank you so much for your reply..
They extract the juice from the sugar canes... so piloncillo is pure sugar cane juice...
De hecho no se si se acuerde soy el niño que me avente en le ojo de agua el los negros
Hola.. Saludos
How is it possible that there is no molasses? Brown sugar has molasses; it is part of the harvesting of sugarcane.
❤❤❤❤
Hola.. saludos ..
why pilonchilo is so hard?
it is hard because it comes to a boil and its pure brown sugar...
Yo vivo en los otates y a ese señor le dicen el pato
