- hi! in this video I'm putting the sim and memory card in my hello kitty flip phone. its more of a trying the phone out video rather than informative but feel free to ask any questions in the comments. I still haven't managed to get the memory card working so any advice would be great!

This phone works with 2g or 3g and you can only work it with T-Mobile 3g Sim card or AT&T. But alot of cellphone towers do not work in 2g or 3g Because we use 4g/5g now. I had this phone back in 2012 but getting it NOW i wouldnt know if it can work in 4g let alone 5g :/

FR though, this is how I feel every single time I come across an old phone of mine in storage thats plenty of years old. I have an old Alcatel flip phone, Motorola, LG Webslider and a sidekick! This video just brings me joy!

Hey, my hk fliphone is stuck on the main screen- like the screen where hello kotty is in the city and shes about to walk towards you and when she walks towards u and the phone turns on- shes just standing there and not turning on. What do i do
Mine does that too when I put it on charge. Take the battery out and put it back in again x

Arghhh please help me.. so I have this phone however I can't get it to work. Which sim card slot worked on it!!! I wanted this like you did for so long but I cannot get it to take and/ or receive a call.
I think either sim car slot should work the same! Mine just worked straight away. Maybe try a different brand of SIM card?x
@Rose Ann Darcy Aww you are the absolute BEST!!! Thanks so much for replying to me. I was able to insert a TMobile nano size sim card in slot #2. It shows on the main screen so I know I put it in right! Yet- NOTHING. I can use the phone on the Blue Tooth option but not as a real phone. The sound quality is awful and you can't go too far away from your main phone as it will not pick up the blue tooth option! Argh.. someone said it's because I am in America. We no longe have 2G or 3G- we have 5G cell phone towers. We have very few 4G even left. I could just CRY... so annoying!!! Thanks for your help though

You have to pull back the metal flaps. At first I tried sliding the SIM card in which was impossible but then saw it opened like a latch :)
How do you change the Wallpaper?
I believe you should find this in the display settings

Hi Chantel! I’m from the Uk and got it from Argos but you can also search up SIM cards and you should see some options come up on google! hope this helps x

I think just any simple SIM card would work maybe? I have no clue! I just got a pay as you go SIM card, no idea if you have the same sort of ones over there xx
@@roseanndarcy yeah you guys have 2g until 2033. They shut down all 2g service a couple years ago here.

Hi Anna, the SIM card i ordered is called ‘VODAFONE 21GB Pay As You Go SIM Card’ doesn’t say anything about 4g on it and it’s been working perfect from the moment I topped it up :)
did you move any settings ? i bought a prepaid plan but it keeps saying connection failed

The number should be on the back of the packaging that the SIM card came in I think. And I’d expect there’s a t mobile app where you can top up or you can probably top up on the t mobile website? :)

it should work, mine does, but im in the US so i know we have to use carriers that use the tmobile network
