Ive addedd an extra bit at the end of tips and user comments etc, you will have to let me know if you like it :-) If you dont want the chat bit you can click off at the end of the dig :-)
Loved the extra 10 minutes section. Good finds, but horrid mud! I would stick to the field edges where people walked. It is also sheltered so not likely to freeze as bad. That is where I found my best find at Detectival, an 1888 Victoria Penny.
Hi Dawn! Awwh thank you so much for having my find as the first find of the week! I'm absolutely honoured. I've watched you for years ❤️. Massively appreciate it! Kate x
Chat at the end - nice idea. Garrett pin-pointer, wipe a thin smear of silicon grease on the rubber O ring, to help keep the water out (and don't get grit or mud in there!) You can also turn the sensitivity down if you don't turn it on until it is very close to the object - helps for those awkward finds that you can't!
Love the new 10mins at the end! I’m sure I’m not the only who watches just for your happy personality and chit chat , the finds are just an extra bonus!!! So I’m sure it will be a massive success!!! 😊
A Yorkshire lass here....living in Melbourne Australia since 1966.got the Equinox 800 (coins) and Gpx 6000 (gold). I love your channel.... reminds me of Yorkshire. We dont have anything much older than maybe 1850 here...( gold rush in Bendigo started)... but we do have gold.... even though its small... my biggest bit, so far is about 0.25 grams.... and the curse is the lead shot! But its lovely being out in the bush with the snakes, and lately....Orb spiders.... they are everywhere? Keep digging Dawn I like the 10 minute chat.....and the shout outs to the top 10 commentators.
I absolutely love your videos, you are just a doll! Everything you do, from dancing, laughing, digging, smiling you do very well. Your finds are amazing, you may not find much at times but all in all well done 👍🏻 Very Sweet Lady ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good to hear you are coming to Yorkshire. I think you will do OK here and have lots of interesting finds. If not, there's always good old Yorkshire Puddings.
Oh, I do like your supplement at the end! Any chance to learn more about your finds (and that Find of the Week!) and pointers too, is very welcome. Thanks!
We didn't get a Happy Dance from you Dawn,,, but we got a valuable gem from Chris with his disco duck dance... Very Happy to see 😄 🤜🤛 (👈 a Fist Bump) of friendship for Chris from across the big pond
Dawn, your 10 mins of Q&A is great for beginners! I didn't mind at all! Give some love to your RUclips subs who don't get on Facebook that much! We often miss what you put on FB and miss out on some of you posts! Til next time take care and dig,dig,dig...
You are one brave lady to go out digging in that hard frozen ground!! lol Loved the extra 10 minutes at end! Especially loved that sweet Diggy made an appearance too!! Have a blessed week Dawn!! Love from DeeAnn 🇺🇸
Youd make a good Canadian Dawn, we know all about frozen ground. Your ten minutes of fun at the end is a winner, I know you are familiar with "Digging Canuck" she does a similar thing once a week its a fun thing that was a good dig...HH...John
That was excellent Dawn. Even tho it’s cold n frozen or like goose poop…you got out in the fresh air, had fun and found some great finds. I really liked the chat at the end 👍🥰. I could hear Diggy..squeak squeak! 🤣

Thanks for another great hunt. You make me want to leave work and head out for an adventure. Once the weather is better here in Pennsylvania it will happen!
Hi dawn, your largest musket ball, is a civil war shot, circa 1640...I'm in Shropshire and find lots of them in small areas, these Are generally skirmish areas....if you look at your musket shot you should see lines on it like wire marks...this is where they also were strung together for use as grape shot in hand cannons, if your site is not to far from loppington, that was a Charles 1st royalist garrison and lots of local troop squirmishes! Great find.
It was still a good dig and i love the your 10 minutes on the end, looking forward to more tips, cleaning your finds ect. Take care and cheers for sharing 👍🙏❤️
Hard work when frozen a few coins makes it a great day detecting topped off with tge roman lead ,good Job you didn't mention a Chinese meal for top find cos Chris was staving, another fabulous episode, you Truly are an Amazing Lady ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
I like the extra bit at the end! Any tips and techniques will be much appreciated, and the find of the week from the Facebook page will either inspire me or fill me with envy😂
I bet there were a lot of sniffles that day!! 13:57...That's a Viking finger sheild...haha 15:58...I can't dance either, I can relate. 17:02...The little one is a pistol shot. Yes, I watched the entire video. I don't do social media, but for those that do, this little ten minute end piece will be good for you, I think.
I like the extra 10 minutes tips and tricks or what ever you are calling it at the end of your videos. Keep it up. Also, when did you say you were coming to America for the Texas hunt? I want to make sure I make the hunt so I can meet you.
I was diggin frozen ground a few weeks ago...You get a signal in a clump and can't get to it...Have to wait till it thaws out... Nice digs...I like the extra time on the video...👍
A lucky sixpence to start & a Roman stylus! As a newbie I head for a tree to check round, any paths or water too, and look on maps & Lidar beforehand. Exhausting when ground's frozen! 👍Thanks for the tips, good idea for folk to choose to watch or not. Cheers & good luck! 👍
I enjoyed 'Dawn's Info' and Diggy squeaking his toy in the background😄. I don't detect myself but enjoy watching your excitement on finding something. A question for your 10 minutes would be - does the different soil conditions, eg frost or wet ground make a difference to the signals that you get. thanks
Good talk made me realize THAT I have two garrett metal detectors and I well be writing the serial numbers down just in case. Great tip . Thank you Digger Dawn.....
