Awesome the Museum It was awesome my grandson loved it when we go there it's a shame so many people live just down the street miss dawn they don't know this place exist that's crazy I drive 30 minutes to get there and I kill people but they don't realize what amazing place it is👍🙋♂️🌺🥰🙏 I'm glad you were excited and enjoyed the place

Welcome back home Dawn, I notice when you were walking around the factory you saw some of the posters of items that people had found, well for one of them I remember very well was the gold torcs found by David Booth up in Scotland, believe it or not he was actually out for the very first time getting used to his new detector got his first permission, jumped over the gate and within the first 10 minutes found this fantastic hoard! Then a few years later goes and does it again with a historical brooch I think, one lucky guy,xx

What a great way to start your trip. I would have been asking all sorts of questions in the factory about how everything was made. I could watch stuff like that for hours 😂

The Hand of Faith nugget for which you showed a replica was found in Victoria, Australia back in the 80s, I recall. The nugget was bought by a casino because the Victorian government was too short sighted to buy it and keep it where it belongs. I prospected back in those days in the same areas with a Deepseeker. Found a few small pieces. We knew of others who unearthed very large nuggets at the time, but the finds and locations were usually kept secret. I recall Whites and Garrett were the popular detectors back then.
That was great. It took me 20 minutes to watch a 9:37 video, because I had to keep pausing in the museum. So many neat finds including a gold piece by Steve Moore. Loved it Dawn.
