- Halloween is just around the corner, so I thought I'd show you some of Kaden's ticks! So far, he knows the commands "stand", "touch" and "come" very well. Today, I tried teaching him to jump over my arm using the touch command. For all of his tricks, I use a clicker and treats to train him, for positive reinforcement!

Happy Halloween Yukki!! Kaden definitely knows his tricks. I'm hoping to teach him more as time goes on. My ULTIMATE goal is to teach him to wait on command. I make him practice every morning before getting fed, but he's still learning.😂

Frankie knows 'stand' and he will 'come' but only when he wants to😂Positive and/or treat based reinforcement doesnt really work on him. He just likes to do his own thing all the time

@@sweetnsourchick1761 Classic cats!! I don't know why Kaden personality is so much different. He's always been like that since Day 1! All of my other cats in the past have been more like Franklin. I honestly wonder if it is a trait of british shorthaired cats!

Katie and Frankie they are very active. We had to clear away all the breakables as they run at top speed and jump onto frig, or mantel, etc...but that’s what I love about them.

It's so funny you mention that! I was planning on going to the halloween store yesterday to pick up a scary mask to see how the cats would react, but our fire alarm malfunctioned and wouldn't turn off for 40 minutes!!! I was too stressed out after that lol😂

@@KatieandFrankie maybe both xD also i just got two kittens! Theyre afraid of me and my mom (well mostly me since i havent got kittens in a long time) and i Wanna play with them and take care of them but idk how so maybe make a how to train kittens? Thanks :D
@@cat3579 oh my goodness what do they look like and what are their names?!?!?! Hmmm, that might be difficult since we don't have any kittens at the moment. But some quick 'tips' are to be consistent with any training. Training a little bit each day really helps to reinforces it! Also, get them used to as many new experiences as possible when they're young. Let them meet new people, have friends over, get them used to a cat carrier, I recommend acclimating them to a car harness too, etc....
@@KatieandFrankie theyre persian cats and thr first kitten is called vanilla but my mom calls her snowwhite xD and the other kitten is Panda :D they are both so cute!! We dont have any other kittens that could play with vanilla and panda :( thanks for the tips! :DD
@@KatieandFrankie also the landlord of this house has a dog that gets scared when he sees cats so im not allowed to bring the kittens outside :(
