I believe those came out around 2003 maybe? I loved the original POD it was absolutely innovative for its time. All my guitar tracks on my old band’s only album, were all recorded through this POD. It was fantastic.
Back in the day this worked well. Presets mostly garbage. I had to go through user created libraries to get to get an awesome preset, and tweak that. I used this through a Mesa boogie 400 amp through celestion greenbacks. I played this rigs at shows and no one could tell it was digital. Also recorded through my emu interface at the time. I revisited last week sounds good still. Alkaline trio and other artists played this on albums and most people never knew.

That sounds about Right
I had the Line 6 pc thingy back in 2002 i think. It was like the first pc guitar cab sim i had.
It was a nice Addition for a home studio.
I have a iPod pro, always run it thru a valve amp, sounds fantastic
Stop The Hate and Just Tube it up Dude!
I break out my POD XT Live bean made later sometimes. It has some crazy synth effects, and the amp sims aren’t bad at all.
And/or you can run it through a modern IR
Good Idea!
