When I subscribed I thought this would be a somewhat interesting project to follow. OMG, you have totally blown my expectations to the mountain top. BRAVO!!!!
Turning out rather nice! I like the hanging light. That was another good idea you had. Covering a void is smart! Thanks for posting. Happy traveling...
Hello from Oregon coast. Im a new MH owner. Mine is a 1997 Born Free. What you've did in remodeled is killer. Have as much fun as you can RVing. I'm looking forward once I get my MH into shape. Like you posts.
It's wonderful how you're personalizing your Lazy Daze and the choices you are making really seem to work well, especially your TV solution and the ceiling medallion: well done! We have a 2004 26.5' rear bath that I've done a few mods on, including a pendant light above the dining table. Keep up the fantastic work!
Thank you so much! I've taken a bit of a break from posting videos, but comments like this are really encouraging and help motivate me to post more! Thanks!!
Absolutely love your refresh of your interior! Would love to see it in person on my drive up to Alaska next spring. Bit concerned about heat management with your new window coverings, but shouldn’t be an issue if you’re staying in the PNW. My TK is only five years old, and was basically mint when I bought so I hesitate to do much to it, only major change has been building a 4” deep pantry closet between the kitchen and bathroom, which greatly increases food storage.
Thank you! Yes, I may need to add a different window covering on the sides if I go south. I probably wouldn’t change anything either if mine was only 5 years old! Your pantry addition sounds interesting though :)
I love how the white brightens your rv. I have an 1986 Lazy Daze 22 ft. that is yellow gold with brown cabinets. Looks like a dark cave. I need to lighten it up. Probably will use white as well
Thank you. I was a bit sad to paint over the beautiful wood, but it made such a big difference and feels so much more open and bright now. Good luck on yours!
I really like your sweet videos even if they arouse a certain nostalgia in me. The decoration of your motorhome is very successful and tasteful. Above all, keep going! A subscriber from France.
What a good job. I’m impressed. I bought a 89 Toyota dolphin. I love the windows in them. I’m a mixed media artist but mostly fabric. I’ve got lots of bark cloth from the 50s the romantic shabby chic fabrics and some new old stock 40s fabric. I’ve got so many ideas, I just had it for three weeks. After my husband died, I wanted a van so bad that I could use because I wear a leg brace, but that didn’t work out and I found after I got that notion out of my head about traveling a bit. Went and saw it, I was the first three parties and I bought it 🥴but now I need to find someone to help me do a few things in it. Especially I want to make sure the roof is sealed well. My brother who lives with me neither one of us can climb up there. He’s partially disabled too. You can’t advertise on craigslist anymore it’s too iffy. Maybe it was high expectations on my part. If I can’t find somebody, I’m gonna have to turn around and sell it, engine runs great. It was redone in 2006 and on the inside too. Everything worked so far except the fridge but I can’t figure that out yet. I don’t want a propane fridge and I don’t want a black water tank toilet. It’s down at the mechanic shop. I want new brakes, but it did pass the safety inspections. That’s a good thing. I guess. I used to live in Washington until my husband retired. We both retired from federal shipyard.. I miss the beauty of Washington so much, but I don’t miss the politics. I lived in Bremerton and around there, last place I lived was close to Bainbridge Island. Absolutely gorgeous area. I’m sure nobody’s really interested so I’ll stop my rambling 😊
I hope you're able to get all the repairs done on your LD and able to fulfill your goals! I know it's hard and seems daunting, but maybe tackling a little bit here and there, you will eventually get everything done.
Well it look's like you have done a really nice job on your remodel . I just bought a LD in October , and it is so original I plan to keep it that way . I'm really sad that you have stop posting, I just found your channel today ( money pit video ) and was really looking forward to following your channel .
Thank you for the sub and for watching my videos! I know I've taken a bit of a break from posting, but I have continued to work on my LD and will post some new videos very soon! I'm really excited because I am almost done with my kitchen and want to share the results with all of you. Congrats on your LD!! I'm really happy and excited about mine, even though I am changing a lot with the interior.
Keep it the same? No way!!! If you were restoring it for a museum, then I would agree to keep it as original as possible. When that motorhome home was created it was state of the art, new with the latest technology. The designers and engineer of your RV would have wanted you to move it forward. I guess its just different strokes for different folks. Great job.
Love what you've done it looks great! i'm looking forward to renovating whatever i end up buying as well but i have to say that the original wood on these are beautiful but i love the white paint so it would have been a struggle for me. in the ocean/islan shot looks like you maybe in my part of the world...Baja. Thank you so much for sharing you're giving me such great ideas although i'm not as handy with the sewing machine. :). Happy New Year
Hi Linda. I am not sure you check this, but I will be doing some make over stuff to a new-to-me Lazy Daze. I am wondering where you got your table and which curtain rods and clips you used for your curtains. If you have a amazon storw, coukd you please inclidenot on your reponse so you get commision? Thank you!
Linda Sweetie, your touches are marvelous and have a classy update feel. You have a talent, and your visions are on cue. I'm wondering what is going on since this video. Surely life has gotten busy, and tis the season for family ties. Well, take care and hoping you're doing well with your new adventures. Always, Syn Silver.
Thank you for such a nice comment and for watching my videos. Yes, life got busy. My daughter entering high school this year and playing sports definitely added to my obligations and I just wasn't able to make any videos. But I just posted a new one and hope to get back on a schedule in 2023. Thank you for your support and encouragement. Happy New Year to you!
You can use any residential light fixture in your rv. You just don’t have to wire the ground. However, you can’t use regular light bulbs. You have to use 12v bulbs. Here’s a video that I watched to learn how to do it. He does a nice job explaining better than I could! :) ruclips.net/video/WckaZqy3p5A/видео.htmlsi=O_YnwdFCbyxeR6ca
The California Queen massive bed is one of my favorite features of our Lazy Daze along with the surround massive windows. The view is so awesome. Interesting looking at the things you changed out. Hospital white isn't my favorite color but has the advantage that the next owner can easily paint over it.
@@LindaYoshi Another thing I love is the sound proofing. People complain all the time about campground noise. In our Lazy Daze with its wood frame and double pane windows, we can block all that out if we want to. That's something hard to convey in a RUclips video.
Just took Mr. Green up to the Canadian Rockies. Although the trip didn't turn out as planned, Mr. Green was a rockstar and did so good! Kept us warm and got us home safe.

Personalizing a rig shows the owners personality.
It looks classy 👍
Thank you! I agree!
It’s so gorgeous…. Nice job.

Wow, you've created a mini sun room/theater/game room. Clever.
Thank you, that was the goal I was aiming for :)

Thank you! I want to do as little work as possible, lol :)
@@LindaYoshi Yeah right! That is funny!!!
Sooooo pretty! We have the rear twin bed too and you’re really giving me some inspiration. My husband isn’t gonna too be happy. 😂

Hi Linda - love your remodel! Can you explain how you took the 110v lights to 12v?
