Thanks for the recipe Paula, I'm going through some of your older videos for meal prep ideas. My wife made a traditional recipe from her Grandparents I don't want the carbs from the potato filing. I'm fully healed and back on track with the weight loss and walking...
I made this for supper tonight. I guessed the oven at 350, until the meatballs looked cooked, & I guess the amount of sour cream to be 1/4 cup, estimating by the looks of what you had in the cup you were holding. All I can say, is that this is a keeper ! Thank you. It tasted just like the white sausages & gravy that my family used to get at the restaurant in the Danish village of Solvang, California. My husband just came back for seconds, & that's not something that happens a lot, so YUM. Thanks for the wonderful recipe.
Interesting~ not sure that I'd have paired nutmeg & allspice w/hickory, so there's something different. Kind of makes sense though, now that I'm thinking about it. These look delicious Paula =)
You can use regular salt instead of hickory. I’m just a huge fan of the smoked salts, I’ve been putting them on everything lol! Allspice and nutmeg are common in traditional Swedish meatball recipes. Thanks 😊
This recipe looks delicious Paula! Thanks for sharing. Definitely will be trying this out! Are Swedish meatballs always made with pork and beef? What if you only have ground beef? Can you use all beef? Thanks!💕

Thank you Ron
One more thing, I didn't have the hickory salt, so I used smoked paprika.
Good choice!
That looks very good. I’ve been missing gravy. Thanks ❤️😁
Ooh. Can't wait to make these. Thank you ❤️
Making these this weekend!
Thanks Paula for doing this recipe for us! Next dinner on my list!
It’s so good! Thanks!

I’m so glad you liked it! My hubby said it’s one of his top favorites too!
I do believe I'm drooling!!!!!😁😋
My hubby’s favorite
Those look awesome, especially the gravy! I love getting Swedish meatballs for lunch whenever I so at IKEA but they aren't keto friendly. Thanks
You’re welcome!

Traditionally yes but you can definitely use all beef
Good to know. I’ve never made them but I love them! Thank you!🌸🌺
Yummy
I would like them with mashed coliflower.
That would be good
Hello. I didn't hear you say anything about the oven temperature or how long the meatballs cook for? Also, how much sour cream please?
Hi! The recipe link is in the description
How do you clean your cast iron skillets?
Hot water, I don’t use soap unless I absolutely have to and if I do it is just a drop
My husband uses hot water, and "balled up aluminum foil" to scrub off any food partials.
Nobody gonna mention that plate?
What
Do you use lean beef mince or regular?
It’s 80/20
