The game is so hard, I would not have made it without this walkthrough. The built in clues are really lame and not helpful when stuck
I find the first clue and often the second clue are just incredibly obvious stuff. At the earlier levels they were somewhat helpful while you get a feel for the game, but later levels they don't help. The Room series was fun but this game somehow isn't. The mechanics are similar but the implementation is needlessly picky, like having to zoom in and zoom in and zoom in again before you can apply an item. The thing with the 4 moons is killing me -- you have to get them exactly right otherwise the center doesn't light up. And then they make you do it a *second* time with another set of moons. Ready to yeet my phone.

Are you american or what? Game is actually kinda simple (no walkthrough, just wanted to check how many hours it tooks to someone else.) And when hints are appearing it's obvious whats going on.

@ 2:09:12 - so I’m going to give my own explanation for this segment, because the comments I saw confused me at the time and it took a while to figure out. This puzzle is actually easy once you understand the mechanics behind it. What had me confused - and I imagine it’s the same thing confusing others as well - is how the swiveling control arm functions. I was paying far too much attention to the arm, trying to align it with the glowing letters. Pay no attention to the arm. The arm controls a section of letters that can be in a completely different spot than the control arm itself. So watch the letters, not the arm. You want to align the letters that you are controlling with the letters that move on their own. Pay attention to which direction they’re moving and follow them with your own letters. That’s all you have to do, it’s pretty simple once you know what the puzzle wants from you.

The puzzle I found the most difficult and the most RIDICULOUS was the 5 digit tower combination @ 1:16:00. You are only given one clue "III" to decipher a five digit code anywhere between "I" and "XIII"??? It would take days to come up with the right 5 digit combination!! And even after watching your video...still doesn't make sense to me??? With "I" on the bottom and "XIII" on the top,....I get the pattern +1, +2, +3....but "VIII" +4 IS NOT "XIII"!!!!???
Anyone else have this problem too? Or was there something obvious I missed there??

Thank you for this. There were times I was stuck and this solved my dilemmas. Sure, this isn’t as good as the Room series, but that’s life. Most of us don’t get first-class all the time - we get to be happy with 2nd and 3rd class thrown into the mix. This game is very diverting and almost as good as Room.

This is best genius game ever seen in a while or at all from the person I know on stream on Twitch. Really hard if you can't think or strategize. I know someone streaming it that hets help from guy in Europe that is good at stuff & math. This makes math too like any game really. My tablet broke so I must wait to get it & finish other games, 1 free & 1 half price, but this for an app worth allot more the $5 to me. Genius, art, amazing & creative puzzles. Wow. Love medieval stuff orerr reneisance like this. This 1st bullista globe area 2nd room hard. Is only part I saw her start on. They dont like cheat only hints which were not always helpful ccu all the same we thought. They solved it all them selves. They are like 5th room atm. Well one was garden in between. I helped like point out 3 things so far. Not that hard really if follow shapes & patterns and focus & logically observe & investigate all that moves, plus puzzles within puzzles solving & hidden compartments, sliding, pulling, cracking, etc. The more practice the better brain building out of them you get. It takes her 3 times as long in several 1day weekend stream, cuz she dies other puzzle on on Saturdays, but it is all, cuz repeat trial error trying to figure out & controller issues, etc. 3 hrs per stream just about. I didn't get the sliding soilders concept part. Hard to get the art lines, but oh well. I got the towers conquer lands part more then that. I think you missed stuff at that gems table. Blowing out lights you need to see with & the window silly, plus a cross key not checked out yet too nor guide where you need toshoot. I bet that tank moves all around or rotates somehow maybe.
AS good as i've played the entire room series and now playing the Da Vinci series - i can definitely say, this game/series ins much much difficult that the Room series.

@@othgaming5891 one thing that bugs me is that I miss things in this one just because I'm not finding the exact hot spot, Even tho I know of one it can be hard just to click back into a puzzle. I don't think it's my mouse since it works perfectly well in other point-n-click type games.
The key .ATTACK THE SMALLEST” whatever happens do that and it works out.To be fair the developer DOES tell you this in the game card on the map table.

TOP TIP. Did you know at 2hr 25mins, with the boiler you can hold the pump on the left, don't let go and quickly pump it up and down when you move your mouse up and down.
Thank goodness I found this walk-through I’ve been on that darn map battling the different countries forever so I videotaped your walk-through and was able to step by step to finally conquer that damn stage. LOL thank you

Just persevere, Spin the arm slowly from left to right until the white tips of the arrow are around 25 minutes on the wheel. Just move slowly until the colour changes to green and then stop and do nothing, it will eventually goto pink and the wheel will spin. Hope this helps.

I can’t get past this either, I can’t work out what to do, I’ve done the 4 circles underneath and the large one above is lit but what do I do next? I keep spinning the arm round and letters keep appearing and some are lit but nothing else happens
You have to follow the lighted letters, focus on them only and go right or left .The lighted letters are changing direction back and forth and you have to follow them and change direction too. Right or left or back and forth or up and down, whatever suits you...
Took me a while to realize this, but the brown letters only light up once they are lined up completely with both sets of grey letters behind them. Once you have them lined up, you have to keep them lined up until the bright light in the middle appears. I kept spinning it around just trying to get the letters to light up not even realizing how they light up. Could've saved myself a bunch of time.

I finally figured this one out!! You add each Roman numeral to the one below it, to get the next roman numeral above. Still kind of screwed up though because you have to somehow know you must add '1' at the start to the "I" to get "II"!!

well if you use the item you know that you have to reach 3 so its kinda helps.still not the best puzzle
this is kinda a messed up puzzle...the initial "clue" they gave is so vague. Now I get that the "III" next to the puzzle suppose to be an indicator to add the "II" with the "I" initially. but come on...how does anyone suppose to figure that out given the sheer potential combination of numbers that could yield 3.
The clue is too vague. What, with the arrow pointed up, at first I thought you had to add in sequence of three, starting from the bottom number one, to get to 13, and if you do that you do get number 13.

The boiler, the sequence of the odd symbols make no sense!
It’s the zodiac signs, you have to press them from the order of the months they are in (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, etc.)

The world map puzzle drove me insane.
For me, it was the battle strategy game on that globe map that screwed me over enough to uninstall the game.
I did that easily but the other puzzles gave me a really hard time

1+2=3 ....... I
3+2=5 .......V
5+3=8 ...... VIII
8+5=13 .... XIII
don't forget when you look through the lenses on the right side of the tower you'll see number III it's a hint on it's place. .
The number on the top is actually 13 not 8

I'm playing this on my laptop and I'm stuck. At 44:37 min you have to push those sides into the geometric shape but Ive been stuck on that for 2 days. Turns out, you have to push both parts at the same time. How do you do that on a laptop? I tried using my keypad and an external mouse but that didn't work. Is there another way?

Try playing it on your mobile phone or electronic tablet, then it should work.🙂 edited to add: to push both parts at the same time on a laptop, turn on touch screen mode on your laptop.
How you turn on touch screen mode depends on whether you have a MAC or Windows laptop.
If you have a windows laptop, you can turn on touchscreen mode by typing Device Manager in the search box (white rectangle, bottom left) of the taskbar (bottom of laptop screen).
Click on Device Manager.
Click on arrow on left side of Human Interfaces Option.
Right click mouse arrow on HID compliant touch screen. This will turn on the touch screen.

Follow the popping letters, if you catch up with them they start to glow blue and keep going eventually it will open the portal i guess

hey man, what is minimum requirements for this game in pc!
I works on phones so it must be quite low. But with the phone I experienced some few issues. Sometime when you use the lense the stuff do not appear and you think there is nothing to see then, but it's not always the case and after several try it appears, so it could be confusing sometime.
And it also can be difficult to control some devices sometimes, more likely because the touch zone might be to small on phone screen.
I add some "GRRRRRRR" time because of that.

For the life of me I can't figure out what it is we're supposed to be doing with the big wheel's lighted gears and letters after setting the moon phases. I can't get past that point.
Follow the lighted letters right or left.....Focus on the lighted letters only....Follow them until a lot of them are lighted....

This game is the backward cousin of The Room series. It is a truly awful game in comparison. So often nothing makes sense and clues are needed. The controls don't help at all,many times i gave up trying to move something only to have a clue tell me that i have to move it. This game is nowhere near as good as The Room games.
could've been made by the same dev team, it did come out after this.

@@philippetyan It goes like this, under the microscope you have 8, 4 and 2 of the different geometric shapes. You go to the boiler and try to get those numbers however you can. You'll see that the only way to get 2, 4 and 8 is "428" combination. Then you go and look at the plane to associate every geometric-shapes-number with the corresponding symbol. For example, you have 8 pyramids under the microscope with vial, going back and looking at the plane you'll see the symbol ɣ next to the triangle, so ɣ goes under the 8. Repeat the reasoning for dodecahedrons and octahedrons and you got it!

@@philippetyan yeah I didn't like the end game puzzles as much as the rest of the game, I had to learn that the hard way, i started from 8 and tried to get 8 in the 1st column first, then moved to the second column then the third. The reason why I started from the number 8 is because you only have three possibilities to check for, 233, 323, 332.

Is it me or did they screw the pooch and end the game in a cliffhanger that may never be resolved because there are no other games by this developer? Don't get me wrong it's a great game just a weak ending, maybe they'll pop up with a sequel one day.

I hate to compare.... but I’m gonna. It has well throughout puzzles but it lacks independent discovery phase. Moving around is very limited to where the puzzles are.... it’s just puzzle after puzzle... no intrigue or story building... music is annoying. Forever Lost and Veritas from glitch games and the Room series from fireproof games is much much better.
Can't get past the map. You attack the smaller castles and your count goes down. Zero logic in this at all.

Have you played the Room series? This is basically a rip off of that series, and definitely not as well done as The Room, though close. You should definitely play the Room 1, 2, 3, and Old Sins. Those are much better than this.
You haven't played many games then. This is just a clone of "The Room" series,even down to the eyepiece and clue system. A poor mans copy until the next "The Room" game is released.
@@TheArtObsessed It's what I thought too. I got some issues with this one on my phone, some stuff wasn't working completely fine which is frustrating to have to consult help just to be confirm that I was doing right, and also the end is quite disappointing.
And the story is light sometime... All this machinery just to open something that could have been done by hand.????? It would have made sense if is was something hidden or something like that.
The escape Room makes more sense.
But still the Da Vinci is beautiful too at least and most of the time not that bad.
But I never found anything as good as the Escape room serie

@Agnès Vayssière comme je vous le disais, j'ai fait Room 1 et 2. Logiquement, il y a une suite et je suis en attente. J'ai trouvé da Vinci très difficile mais passionnant. Allez sur Steam : là vous trouverez d'autres jeux dans le même style.
@@elisa954 Pareil, j'attends la suite ou au moins un jeu du même style développé par le même studio de production. Da Vinci est ce que j'ai trouvé de plus proche en qualité mais on atteint pas encore le niveau de The Escape Room serie.
J'ai fait House of Da Vinci 2. Moins passionnant et beaucoup moins élaboré que le premier. Grosse déception.

I always hate the 9 tile snake puzzle game, never got the logic of it.
Same. Infact i am not enjoying this game at all because most of the puzzles are just too obscure or near impossible. I hardly ever used hints in any of the room games but in this game i had to use it very often. This puzzle is just annoying.

I'm so disapointed, even with this walkthrough ending the game is imposible. Too much bugs into the moves on phone. For example it is impossible to catch the piece of the roof for the model into the corner of the sarcophage. Time to zoom out and the door is already closed. It's a very nice game but too hard . So no choice to desinstall it and lose my money. A shame
Parecido a The Room pero no tiene nada que ver. Muchos enigmas ilógicos, que aún viendo este vídeo seguimos sin saber por qué se resuelven así. Además, los gráficos son peores y no se aprecian ciertos detalles ni sabes qué tienes que hacer ni dónde mirar. Sí a The Room, no a Da Vinci.
