In The Patriot, Susan is grieved over the loss of her mother, and does not speak to anyone, especially her father. In one of her finals scenes with him, she breaks down and cries, telling him not to leave.

Was an excellent movie but without a doubt the best scene was where she finally spoke to him. As a dad who has a 5 year old son who lives on the other side of the country that scene hits me the hardest.

One of many scenes I have seen that make me tear up and cry (or close to it).
Another one that is worth it too is a episode of this Anime called Sakura Wars. The episode name is called Lonely Birthday (Episode 12 in the TV series). Oh my... The ending of that episode will shock you and cry. Trust me.

i cant watch this movie and not tear up a bit when susan says . ( i will say anything . just dont go) i have played goal in hockey.played line in football. broken arms and legs.. and not a tear.. but this gets me tearing up.. cant figure why i cant cry when i get hurt.. but when i see a little girl.. all i can say..
