You were pretty spot on in your analysis of the whole best buy situation. I would guess Walmart will probably take lead in offering more physical media in stores and will be the main retailer with those exclusive steelbooks.
I quit Best Buy when they trashed cds. Nothing but a computer and appliance store now. I order my cds and DVDs online now from Amazon and eBay. A better selection. My music collection and movie collection isn't going anywhere. Best Buy is gonna be bankrupt in a few years. Who remembers HH Gregg lol
Gotta be bitterness in the physical media space that in reaction to this news so many ignorant comments about Best Buy going out of business. They're in the top 100 of fortune 500 companies. They're not going anywhere.
