Great video to start the New Year! Love my Pono ATD from you guys. It really does hold up well against much more expensive ukes. An amazing value at this price point.

I know I'm late to the party here but could someone point me to the arrangement of yesterday that Kalei performs?

Show of hands: how many of you can barely hack out a tune on a tenor but now want a baritone too? (Hint: I do)

@HawaiiMusicSupply, what small diaphragms do you use in these vids? And what's the big grey (guessing ribbon) that we usually see? mahalo/si yu'os ma'åse

Using a pair of Josephson c617 w Gefell MK221 caps and a pair of Schoeps w the MK2 caps here. The grey ribbons I use on some videos is made by Ocean Way.

All Pono models are stunning. I have a MBD and a MTSH-PC ( sunburst) I’d like to get more x. You guys are so amazing. The ATSH-PC is pulling my interest

Happy New Year! Can't wait to purchase my first Pono this year! Can we get one of these guys in a video with that spruce top mahogany back/sides baritone? 😁

Andrew, why does Pono like the wound C string. Sustain?
BTW, Mika and Kalei sound amazing together

It was the way almost all tenors were strung in Hawaii for many year. Maybe 15-20 years back the all plain set started being more popular. It does add sustain. Just personal preference. The next Pono shipment will have the Aho fluorocarbon all plain I think. Mahalo.

Are you guys going to Namm? One of the guitar RUclipsrs was walking with a camera on and passing several Ukelele boths. I wanted him to stop. :)
