You guys are forgetting this movie came out in 1985- 4 years AFTER Bill Haley died. And this is definitely his voice. And this isn't digitally remastered, either- I don't believe you could digitally remaster something in 1985. Wikipedia says this is an alternate version by Bill Haley and His Comets, so I'm inclined to believe that.
"I don't believe you could digitally remaster something in 1985." Of course you could. CDs have been on the market since 1982, and you can't make a CD without a digital master.
I still hold out hope we'll see a future release with the 4th ending. For those that don't know, another outcome was filmed, with Tim Curry being the killer. He escapes from the police in a car, but a dog in the back attacks him, causing him to crash. Apparently, it was filmed and completed, but never put in the film.
my fav part from the movie;; second ending, Mrs. Peacock:: Wadsworth:: it's just like the Mounties, we always get our man Mr. Green:: Mrs. Peacock was a man?! Wadsworth slaps Mr. Green, followed by Colonel Mustard
"Who are you?" "I'm the butler." "And what do you do?" "I buttle, sir."
The butler is head of the kitchen and dining room. I keep everything tidy.
Okay, Chief. Take 'em away.
I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife.
Best line ever
We're doing this at my school, and everyone comments on that line.
Such a huge plot twist
Loved it! 🤣
Such a great line. I just watched this movie again for around the 4th time. What a cast!!
Col Mustard: Why is J Edga Hover on your phone?
Wadsworth: He's on everybody elses, why shouldn't he be on mine?
Is it in the interest of the FBI to cover this up?
...isn't it? Why do you think we have a guy called Hoover as president!
HANDS DOWN one of the most underrated comedies of all time, and SO many quotable lines god i love this movie
I couldn't agree more. In my top 10 comedies, for sure. Absolutely hysterical.
"I'm not shouting! Alright, I am. I'm shouting, I'm shouting, I'm shout...."
You forgot:

Ding-a-ling

Dum
KO by candlestick for some reason.
*wadsworth comes back with an ice pack on his head *
No nudity, no swearing, all the murders are off screen and its one of the most memorable movies ever made.
Except for when Mr. Green killed the real Mr. Body, but I get what you mean.
@Brad1980 yeah but like, you could show the film, unedited in its entirety, on just about any TV network without any issue, over-the-air or otherwise

All their facial expressions at that monologue... :))

@@TransmissionEpicts I have, as well. A select few have gotten it. Others? Troglodytes.
I actually prefer this version to Bill Haley's actual recording.
"Just checking." "Everything alright?" "Yep, two corpses, everything's fine."
Wadsworth - "Can you keep a secret?"
Mustard - "Yes."
Wadsworth - "So can i."
“Can you keep a secret?”
“Yes.”
“So can I.”
Lol.
I actually got to prank someone with that line, once. XD

Ana Rabe I suggest we stack the bodies in the cellar, lock it, leave quietly one at a time...and pretend none of this ever happened...

Mrs.P: "Everything all right?"
