Just when you think you know it all Kenny throws something new at you. This is very cool!

The song really works but I've already had shiny glue skin questions stuck in my head since yesterday's video.

I really appreciate your work. Thanks a lot. By the way, I've been working with takes for such a long time that now I cannot understand very weel which is the difference between lanes and takes.

Useful, but if we can make single button shortcuts or icons we can click to select the colour for the markers........

Nice video on a cool feature, but it looks and sounds like all the takes are identical.
The fixed item lanes videos would be more significant if they were based on real studio takes.

As always, thank you, Kenny! May I ask, what is the make and model of the "typing" keyboard you use?

That's interesting that you use colors for the take markers, but that's still too many clicks for me.
What I tend to do is give each phrase/take marks/number out of 10, which is easier and quicker, and you get a good Idea of which takes are good. The higher the number, the better the phrase/take.

Wow cool. Also verry nice in explaining how you created the lanes.
By saying what menus you went into and everything.
Also I really like that song you're using. Is it an actual song 1 could listen to someware? I also liked that last people standing 1 for the sends vid.

Kenny - This is great for creating a single great comp. If i just recorded four vocals, i would do this to create that comp, but what if i wanted to create a comp for a track to double the first comp, using those same four tracks? I'd love a quick tutorial on that

    • @jamisondonald384
      @jamisondonald384 5 месяцев назад +1

You can duplicate the 4 tracks, choose different parts on the new set, and that will do it (if I understand the question correctly)

It's a nice feature I'm sure I'll use at some point, but what's the easiest way to keep it from automatically adding lanes when I import a track?

Fancy! Could be very useful. Thanks.❤️🪕

This is cool! Unfortunately for me, it's a little trickier as my partner (very limited recording chops) doesn't use the lanes and records numerous tracks so I have a rather archaic way of comping. It works, but is pretty tedious.

You can pretty easily drag all the items from multiple track into lanes on a single track. Of course you lose all the track-level stuff like volume, pan, effects, sends, etc.

    •  5 месяцев назад

There are actions to implode tracks into takes or lanes. Very convenient because takes or lanes are far more easier to use for comping.
