- We hit the streets of seoul to ask random strangers, many of whom had never heard of BTS or K-pop before, to pick who they thought was the most handsome or cutest BTS member from a set of photographs. Absolutely. But when you have a nation full of people who are intelligent, talented, and charismatic, the only thing left to make a person stand out is looks. I'm not saying every Korean is smart, talented, and charismatic, but a great percentage of the population is. It comes from centuries of insistence that if you have a special skill, you do that to the best of your ability, and always strive to become better, rather than resting on your laurels and squandering that talent. It's not as though other nations' celebrities are ugly people with talent. EVERY nation puts pretty people with talent on a pedestal, not just Korea.

Objectively speaking, V is the most handsome. I mean there’s even a plastic surgeon on RUclips who reviewed his face and came to the conclusion that he’s pretty damn close to the golden ratio. Everything about him is handsome- his big alluring eyes, high nose bridge, perfect jawline. He has features that would appeal to both women and men. V is an otherworldly being who’s on a whole other level.

In short, he is attractive to the majority of people including beauty experts who are not KPOP fans. He has been chosen by these pros and not by fans so I concur to them as they know what they are talking about and are not biased.

All it took for me to become an Army was V’s smile I saw in one of my friend’s stories , I was so captivated that I don’t even remember how it happened . "If I see BTS, I only see V!" And its true,being handsome aside,I mean that one is pretty obvious,but V has the most magnetic personality,he draws you in,hes friendly,playful,charming and just has an incredibly positive aura.
Even if V was not in BTS he will still standout in alot of spaces because of his personality and charisma. Talent wise he has the most distinct voice that's both manly and soulful,he's kind and very considerate of people around him including those not on the same level as him e.g(backup dancers,intrumental players). Taehyung is a perfect gentleman with the most symmetrical features and an all around beautiful human. He wins!

I remember when I first saw them up close, they’re all VERY handsome but when I got to Tae, I was so blown away. I remember thinking that he looked so unreal 🤯 I know rap line wasn’t mentioned much in this video but I think the camera doesn’t do the rap line enough justice. Rap line features are sharper and different from what is usually seen among male idols. Also, they’re not just handsome, they’re very charismatic as well which I think makes them so attractive. Joon esp, I don’t know how to describe it but he has a special aura around him.

Tbh seokjin is perfectly a fit for Korea's beauty standards, he is tall he's got an actor's face, sharp nose, plump lips and his skin is white all of which is the standard for beauty in korea I get why he is the official visual and he truly is beautiful.
For taehyung rather than matching the koreans beauty standards he kind of goes beyond it. Taehyung has the darkest skin among all the members he has actually a really tan skin colour its just his photos are whitewashed alot so you cant see but if you see him in rl his beauty hits you differently, he has big eyes and unique shaped lips but he is handsome not just by Koreas standard but also by international standards. I get why he got the title for the most handsome face, while you can find so many handsome idols in kpop who fit to Korea beauty standard taehyung doesn't and that's what makes him stand out. He is so handsome because he has unique visuals. Anyways I do think taehyung has the looks AND the talent. He really is amazing.
I have seen BTS several times since debut and Namjoon has the deepest skin tone of BTS, Hobi and Jimin have a deeper skin tone irl. Tae has a beautiful tan when he catches the sun in the summer, as all BTS do, but his untanned skin tone is not the deepest. Perhaps watch some of the Run outdoors episodes. Most SK fansites whitewash for aesthetics ~ but a lot don't these days ~ you need to avoid the non-South Koreans who steal fan site photos and fake edit darker skin tones in photoshop ~ they don't realise SK skin tone is not naturally deep. It is so racially insensitive to fake dark skin. 😷

Even in Brazil every single on of us agreed taehyung is from here because of his golden rich skin tone his natural tan is actually really pretty. He and joon have the darkest skin tone, jin and yoongi have the lightest. The vlive videos and the outdoor videos you are talking about the camera lightening is different and you cant tell quite clearly. Unless you see tae in real life you can only guess he's got a minimum tan but he is actually really tan and it's beautiful.
I heard about the Korean beauty standard matter and discussed this with a K-Army. She said that nowadays they don't hold this standard. Just right in this video, V got 20 votes from the Koreans! I consider males shouldn't have pale skin. Males usually look healthier and manlier with tanned skin. Even in other Asian countries, they don't prefer people with pale skin any longer.
