I like it that the test took the time it takes to park a car into account. The test missed two things, however. It missed the time it takes to get to the bus, (it should have started at least a few blocks from the station and at a random time to take the possibility of waiting for the bus into account), and it should have been repeated at different times of day to see if traffic makes a difference.
One game is the best way to keep it random. Multiple matches is best if you ever want to give people competitive advantages in deciding who gets to chose.
ya right, as if all buses will be at the stop at the moment you walked to it. not to mention bus depends on number of passengers getting on and off the bus at each stop.
K C you don’t start a race between a car an a bus from A BUS station TO A BUS station. Both the car and the bus drive on the same road pulse the bus has to stop at certain points. The car should arrive with plenty of time in spare this segment is full of bullshits
@@3932003 Nonetheless the bus won by so much he easily would have walked to a nearby location before parking could be found. Ironically tho if the bus attracts enough people a car could more easily win this race because fewer cars would be in the traffic lot. And regardless the bus is cheaper than paying for gas.
@Rata 4U I also drive to downtown each day. 50 cents of electricity plus free parking. Taking an electric train every day shouldn't cost any more than THAT!

I was thinking exactly the same as you.
Only sociopaths play one round of rock paper scissors. It's best 2 out of 3. Monsters.

Well, with top gear sort of gone and the grand tour no longer doing these kinds of races, I guess this will do.
They were pretty good episodes. Especially the Russian one

This bus actually will. I've went on this bus. And everytime I exited Joyce the bus is there. I mean it has 4 to 3 minute headways. Not bad.

Next time you guys should both share your location on whatsapp or Facebook messenger and make a little graphic of the pace and location.

I want to see this tested on all the lines.
Thank You
What about the time of walking to the bus stop and waiting?
Most people get on the bus from the train. Why would you need to walk to the bus stop.
Well I already saw the winner in the first 2 min
In my country, the car is almost the fastest way to go
Well your country is a little behind
Clearly Rafferty is the winner on the RabbitBus.
I honestly can't take anything the CBC reports seriously.
Because they decided to do something different and fun with their digital-only piece about the new bus routes?

Do the test again , from home at with a stroller and 2 crying kids
Why?
Twisting the rules so the bus wins !! Great job
So when you drive, do you just stop the car anywhere once you arrive at your destination and get off
