  • For years I've wondered if I can take an Axys Chassis Polaris PRO RMK snowmobile and add a 2-UP seat. 2-UP seats were designed for the INDY XC style sleds, not for the Mountain Sleds. BUT..........is it possible?? According to Polaris it is not. I find out, by my own trials, if MAYBE it is! ‪@PolarisORV‬ ‪@PolarisSnow‬ ‪@actionmotorsports2783‬

Great video, I have been curious about this for quite some time and cannot find info on it anywhere. Thanks

I appreciate you making this video. You were very clear and explained things very well. I've got a '19 Assault 144, and I'm debating on getting a detachable passenger seat for the wife now, as she doesn't want her own sled. And just to clarify, because I'm looking at the Polaris website now, and it seems a little confusing. Polaris still says that the M2 seat doesn't work for my sled, but that's the one that I prefer, for reasons that you stated. I'd like to have the ability to add other lock and ride things on my tunnel when the passenger seat isn't on.

Good work on the video. I did the same trial and install last year (prior to your video unfortunately) on my 2016 pro axys as well. Now if only I can figure out the wiring for heated grips! Had a friend suggest tying into the break light but haven’t explored it yet.

Appreciate this! I have a 2017 Axys and 2020 Expedition. On good snow days and short trails I'd like this option to bring the wife along on the AXYS with her snow shoes. The M2 looks good.

It’s awesome. I took the FT2 back and we have two M2s for the sleds. My kids love them. Enjoy!

I have a 2015 Rmk 800 Pro and wondering if I can install this seat ?? I think the 2015 is a year prior to Axys chassis but think the tunnel will accept the same mount.

Would this work on a pro ride chassis?

Hey Jeff. The wiring harness for the heater grips comes with the seats. I didn’t order the heated seat but I assume the harness would come with that seat. Since the Axys sleds don’t have the pre-wired setup under the seat I didn’t even mess with it yet on mine.

@@BB-mv2qq Ok thanks. I bought the seat second hand, got a wire harness but the plugs don't match up. I did find the jumper wire I need so I appreciate your time and nice video as well.

@@3dReloaded3d I’m headed up to the cabin on Thursday. I will take a pic of the wiring harness and bag and hopefully the product number if there is one so you will have it either way. Thx for watching
