Thanks for the review! These will be my next road shoe purchase. I tried them out at my local running shop and thought they were really fun. The Endorphin Speed 3 has been my speed workout shoe and after 200+ miles shows no signs of wearing down. Will probably slot the Cyclone 2 into the rotation to extend the life of those and enjoy putting the miles in them!
It's so rare these days to find a shoe that's good for so many uses! Track and uptempo on the roads - great stuff! I'm barely able to get tyhrough 2 speed days per week Jay, so don't feel bad! Keep pushing!
Awesome review Jay- I've never tried a Cyclone 2 shoe- you say they're fun ... so it's worth a try!! Haha!! I don't do long runs so it sounds appealing! Nice detail and info Jay!! Great training! Keep killing it Jay!!!
Still digging my Cyclone 2 after your original review. I have 58 miles on mine. I use them for up-tempo workouts like fartleks, hill repeats, VO2 max, etc. The best part is that Topo is a Boston brand & I wear only Boston brands that get me to Boston each year (NB, Reebok, Puma [US], Saucony, Topo).
Thank you for watching, they are really fun shoes!! I knew NB and Topo were Boston based, did not realize the others companies were also Boston based. Boston must be the running capitol of the US. 😃
I think they are pretty similar. I think the Cyclone 2 is a little narrower in the midfoot and has a little more arch support. They both work well for me.

Thank you for watching! That sounds like a good plan. The Endorphin Speed 3's are great shoes as well

Right on! I can't get through as many speedier sessions these days and they are much slower than they used to be. Keep moving!!!

@@TheOldUltraRunner Indeed. Thx 👍
How does the fit of this shoe compare to the Altra FWD. I’m loving the FWD fit.

They both work well for me.
Hey Jay, how would these fare for a couple runs on road that was more gravel-y and less just normal road?
I think they would feel fine. The gravel would probably show some wear on the part of the outsole not covered by rubber.
