Tamima, that is a great show. Sexuality is one of the greatest gifts God gave to humanity to be used for His Glory (in marriage) but the devil has stolen it, twisted it and made it something else. In the name of modernity, kuchanuka...etc, how many hearts have been broken/ lives lost through sex, sex anyhow, sex before marriage.... It is your responsibility to guard your precious gift and how someone else behave is his/her business - don't be pressured to give in, it is better to just loose a man/woman (through relationships that don't work) than to loose him her with your precious gift. May God shower His grace to you to keep keeping on.

I'm 42 and still waiting as well. Not for marriage, because that's not important to me. But definitely for "the one". I don't care if she doesn't exist. If she's right, she's right. And unlike the majority of people today, I don't leave people just because there are some "problems". If I feel that someone is right, then I expect both the good and the bad from that person. And that's also why I want to make damn sure that it IS the right person before I go and do something stupid.
Is very good and worth waiting for the right guy to come, maintaining your virginity will command respect for you and your family. And you will remain spiritually sound. I'm Christian too at 40 hoping to meet such Christian lady very soon.

The notion of virginity is used to control women’s sexuality and determine their value. If someone chooses to not have sex for their own personal reasons, that’s fine too and we shouldn’t shame or judge them either. Ain't nothing like trip and fall! Virginity is a social construction that came about because of the commodification of women. In fact, Virginity is only a thing for people who are straight! The patriarchy wants you to commodify sexuality and hold sexist attitudes about it because that is how they can keep the status quo intact. Virginity is sexist! I hope y'all choose to (not) remain virgin because it's what you want and not what the society says or how that man/woman will be proud you kept it!
This is my take, in this generation 'Instilling fear' wont solve anything. This is a more informed generation. Most counselors , pastors etc .The society should aspire to instill sense and leave the person to make their own choices. It is important to understand the "Why".Make a conscious choice for abstinence or otherwise .But REMEMBER either way be ready for the consequences.
The problem is that we glorify sin and wring doing but expect best from evil. She has vow with God and only her knows she is worthy of every part. Sex is not all that important and many lives painful life because of it and she is not frustrated and loves it. I would marry her for the fact she has proven she can wait even if i was gone for long. God bless you.
Awesome awesome to the virgins I'm proud of you. To those who are not don't feel sorry, you can still put a no to all sex until marriage and be proud of your secondary virginity. It's all about honoring God
Which one is secondary virginity? Once you've messed up your purity even before marriage you'd loose divine blessings that follow virginity. You can't eat your cake & have it.
Chikelue, Secondary Virginity is where even after you've screwed yourself up, you decide to put a stop to sleeping with someone who is not your husband and allowing God to work on you. He is gracious and just because one might have has sex does not mean they die in that ocean, they can opt out until the right person who deserves their cookies in marriage comes
I got married at 27 as a virgin, despite alot of pressure around me.. im grateful for right upbringing and a good understanding of God's word regarding sex. It really helped. My husband is very proud of me to this day for the gift of virginity that I gave him, coz he understood the sacrifices that I had made to keep this decision. From experience,, There's more than enough sex after marriage.. and I don't feel like I missed out on anything except STDs, heartbreaks, unplanned pregnancy & regrets.. our young people need the right knowledge to stop glorifying the wrong things in life.
There's was a 65yr old virgin in SA 2018 reed dance(Swaziland), every year there's always a Virgins Reed Dance, over 30,000-50,000 girls attend the occasions yearly, even the "good guys" attend too. You can't join the reed Dance if you are not a virgin since they check. This helps them reduce the spread of diseases, and physiological bugage that come with sex....in Kenya it's a surprise while in other countries it's okay to be a virgin...
Av chosen to be a virgin and it feels good esp.Knowing that am beautiful.I will also be walking down the aisle soon.Am in my 30's.congrats to all that av chosen to wait.Thought i was alone in this
This is a very sensitive issue, I personally at a young age have been exposed to a lot almost all the phases but I have not reached Ashley's point but I was almost likely I am Faith. It all comes down with IDENTITY, understanding who you are and what you stand for this means having peace and self love with whatever you choose to do. The struggle is REAL. Seeking the real happiness, having the joy of being loved, risking everything on your power just to be loved it comes with its consequences hatred, despising, no hope that's what I see in Ashley she really needs help because she is in a dark world. The hurt, pain and blaming that's what I see in Rachael she also needs help which is healing. IDENTITY is influenced by the environment we are in, we as a society should not judge the young girls who are not virgins, missing a father and a mother figure is one among the reasons of having self-low esteem and struggling with self-identity. We should understand that getting NAKED for someone does not only involve sexual intercourse but there is more to that, it involves trust, honesty and hope. I encourage the young ladies who struggle a lot there is still hope it does not matter the situation you are facing, YOU DESERVE THE BEST stick on what you believe in and focus on your career and be independent, manipulators are all around at the end of the day Life is about choices. Thanks Tamima nice work you have inspired me. Keep on.
It's very very painful when you lost your virginity and yet you had a vow and commitment till marriage The pressure made me to make a firm decision to pursue psychology in professional counseling beside my career Its very impactive course to pursue Counselor to my self and the society Congratulations to my agemate who you have shared , actually your words encourages me to move on determined

The world will judge you, and possibly look down on you for making a bold choice of purity, but steel your mind, keep going and remember Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

I don't care if she doesn't exist. If she's right, she's right. And unlike the majority of people today, I don't leave people just because there are some "problems".
If I feel that someone is right, then I expect both the good and the bad from that person. And that's also why I want to make damn sure that it IS the right person
before I go and do something stupid.
am 21years 3months and a virgin from Kenya brought up in a very strict family. I have to be principled with myself.
35 and still a virgin na utastart kulea watoto lini? I'm 33 na my son ako in high school first year
Sasa ulizaa ukiwa 16 ? Or 18
We are all different with different timings. Some of us give birth at 11 years and some at 40 years so stop being judgemental.

Is very good and worth waiting for the right guy to come, maintaining your virginity will command respect for you and your family. And you will remain spiritually sound. I'm Christian too at 40 hoping to meet such Christian lady very soon.
Good conversation.
Let's uphold what's valuable.
Keep up the good job!
Not everyone will uphold what you value... 'do not throw your pearls to pigs.. ' #if you know you know!
Perfect topic and salute to all the people who've shared their stories.
Thank you for being real!
Ladies preserve ur selfs that why u see alot of women walking out there with broken Hearts doing things out of flesh. This lady with find a man that derserves and yes she will have children who are u to judge. Her about her age.
Daffny I know you good girls. Me too I'm 30 and still a virgin. Virgin girls we are many and I don't know why many people think its a big deal.
At 30 don't you get the pressure of getting married coz as lady you approaching menopause

Tamima you are a pretty, confident and a great blessing to the young and old. Excellent job. No wonder put it in my heart to be praying for you. I am Kenyan and l live in the
States. Love what God has called to do and become. I am a window and a single mom and l am in the process of starting a single mom organization who are actually forgotten in our Kenyan Culture. I plan to hook up with you when l plan to come to Nairobi and maybe we can chat and see if we can have a show for those young widows and moms who need to know they are still important even though the society looks down on them. God bless you. I will contact you sometimes this year. Cheers..
Wow.good topic.being a virgin is an honour.am 27 and am still a virgin now working but waiting for the right guy
With your prayers & faithfulness to God you'd come out right. I married my wife as a virgin at 27,I wouldn't overreact in her mistakes etc just because of celibacy she maintained before I met her
You just talked to me Tamima🙏am going on my knees after watching this and reading comments on this platform on how some virgins ended up in separation,,,,asking God to grant me the rightful partner after Gods own heart,,coz nowadays there r so many hypocrites in the church,,,, its true virginity does keep a man there is more,so i need to work more on myself before marriage ,,🙏
You ladies have a stand congratulations ...I waited till I was 20 but nyang'au yenye ilinirarua ilinipea tu pads bila fare ya kurudi home

Well done Rehab for keeping your virgin.Gods blessings and more grace, its not easy but possible and worthy it,Baraka tele.Watching from Canada
That's something to be proud of young lady!
Willa Rolen "young lady" ?
Lol
Some people are just lucky... Mimi 😭😭 stori ndefu

It's about God my sister
May God bless you with a real faithful angel of a man who has had same values like you and is untouched.
It is true God can sustain righteous people
Congrats guys,Tamima live long to take this show far, such kind of show we need to learn and encourage others.
Wow. Good work Tamima. I love the gold lady. How she talked was just on point. God bless y'all.
Awesome awesome to the virgins I'm proud of you. To those who are not don't feel sorry, you can still put a no to all sex until marriage and be proud of your secondary virginity. It's all about honoring God
Amazing.
@@idafaith7300 Hakuna kitu kama hiyo... Once the seal is broken, there is no getting it back to it's original state.
There is nothing like secondary virginity or born again virgin. That's nonsense. Once you loose it, it is permanently gone.
Good for you Samson
I like what gentleman councillor is speaking
I love what your doing dear Timima this is what young people need to hear you can keep pure.
From experience,, There's more than enough sex after marriage.. and I don't feel like I missed out on anything except STDs, heartbreaks, unplanned pregnancy & regrets.. our young people need the right knowledge to stop glorifying the wrong things in life.
wao. wat an inspiration. ..
cheerz
That's great of you
I am not a virgin but I have chosen celibacy ,,sex is not a bad thing just do it when you are well prepared of the consequence.
Shout out to all virgins and non virgin. Sexuality is all about knowing what u want and going for it. There is no shame in ur choice.
True
Sex is a deep commitment that is meant to be explored in marriage... And, it honours God to stay pure
Good saying. Keep it pure, God is on your side👍
I love how Tamima connects n how she asks question.
First the fear of the Lord in you...sec its a choice and value for oneself.

why are you applauding wawawawaaah
Keep on.

It's very very painful when you lost your virginity and yet you had a vow and commitment till marriage
The pressure made me to make a firm decision to pursue psychology in professional counseling beside my career
Its very impactive course to pursue
Counselor to my self and the society
Congratulations to my agemate who you have shared , actually your words encourages me to move on determined
Wow it's nice to c guys who still think their virginity is important too
It is important because it potrays a sense of restraint and discipline which is something to be proud of.

Rahab Nganga is a great role models. I am encouraging your girls to follow her example. It's not easy but its doable. The end result is fantastic and assured.
We as parents love this. It gives us assurance and fulfillment. Kudos Rahab
Patricia is not a counselor. The first quality of a counselor is unconditional positive regard. The first thing she did was judge all three girls wholesale! meaning she never LISTENED or even HEARD their heart. Just quickly gave them instructions to love themselves. Gross on every level. A counselor needs to be an EMPATH first. Patricia is not. Maybe work as an advisor not a counselor. MHO.
Lina Cheps very true.... Huyo hauwezi advise me
The world will judge you, and possibly look down on you for making a bold choice of purity, but steel your mind, keep going and remember Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.
