It's so interesting to see a sub-soil ripper again; I remember them being popular when I farmed back in 1992, and they helped with drainage. This is why I wanted to work in agriculture, implement manufacturing, and design.
Good morning Granny! Nice to see that Demo tractor and the new subsoiler in the field! I am impressed, your crew is always trying to find better , improved ways to grow better crops , you raised them to be innovative , good for you I say! Hope you have a wonderful day !
Good morning Granny 🎉 Great video, drone footage and music. Amazing tools you now have, GPS and drones. Dad and Roy great! Appreciate your positive attitude giving credit and recognition of everyone making things happen.
I use to line haul from Toronto Ontario to the west coast of America and back - California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia. I was the happiest driver in the world the day my boss got rid of Freightliner and replaced them with International Golden Eagles.
We change over 5 years ago to Case I/H and we love our new equipment. We have a awesome dealer that they are there when we need them. That makes it so much easier on us cause they don’t hesitate to come out on weekends. Not saying JD don’t make good equipment but we see they are much easier to work on and we haven’t had a bad break down yet. I equipment is 5 is old and we have a harvest sugar cane all though January. It gets pretty bad sometimes harvesting sugar cane. It’s tough on our machines. But at the end of the day we love our Red machines!! Good luck buddy 🙋🏼♂️👍
Really enjoy watching your videos, the way you guys farm is the way it should be done , keep up the good work. Hopefully the price of cotton will go up, people now days don’t realize how much work goes into farming , especially cotton farming.
Running those skinny row crop tires on a 380 is job security for the ripper... Hearing you guys talk about compaction standing next to a 12 ton behemoth on tires we put under a four cylinder, made me smile 😅
@@justinpatrick4251 dealer is doing it wrong. But hey, if customers want to spend money on a cure but not on prevention, you just demo what most customers would want !
Hello Granny and Triple R Farms another awesome video and the tractor looks great and seems to have plenty of power hope you'll are able to work it and see if it should be a new addition to the Triple R Farms equipment list yall be safe and cant wait to see you on the next one Daniel 😀
I had a 7 shank 38in spacing just like that one . I had the berm tuckers behind the shank . Makes a huge difference. Berm tuckers are what make that machine. Couldn't tell where it ran until you tried to spray in the spring . Sprayer would sink knee deep. . But when conditions were good id notill behind it
That new tractor and implement is off the chain. Can I borrow it for a short time, not more than 1 year. Love your dad and the guys. Be safe and watch out for fire ants.
Magnum is nice, our ripper shanks always ran behind tire tracks, was odd seeing that ripper set up like that, but I guess you can probably set it up how you want it…keep em comin Triple R family and God Bless🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Good morning Granny, hope you are having a good week. Going to be cold next week. Hoping Daniel can talk to you during the holidays. Enjoed your talk last year. Take care and stay safe !!!!
I started watching your channel about the time you sent that other red tractor packing. It was having over heating issues I think? They do make some nice looking equipment though huh?
Daniel, I like your program, I run 7 000 acre farm in southern Sweden so it’s interesting to see the comparison. We run winter wheat, rape seed, winter barley and sugar beets as main crops. Could you tell me a bit about your crops and acreage. Best fr Sweden Joachim Gahm
I ran a subsoiler back in the 70's I had it set up 50" on center so I could shatter the hard pan and let the water percolate up and down. what is that one set on ? 30"
Points only 9 inches deep but the wings are 2 inches higher, so not doing the job. If it was doing the job there would be a bow wave in front of the legs.
All that money for a ripper and tractor to pull it and all you needed to do was take that spreader you already got and some tillage radishes with some oats and crimson clover spread then work in lightly and you will break up that compaction AND have excess nutrients for the following crop! Nice tractor and nice ripper but all you did was take your compaction layer deeper in the soil! The radishes and oats and clover will make it easier for the next crop to get through that compaction layer also.

Sales rep did an excellent job explaining what is going on , interesting info , thank you !
Great video! Being a retired engineer and not a farmer, I always enjoy the new equipment demos! Take care..
In Michigan we used a penetrometer for hard pan detection, sure saves on the Shovein' !!
Old school, thanks for watching 👍😁

Excellent information on the tillage tool and how important it is to set it up correctly. Nice Red tractor, I’m sure y’all will be pleased with it.
Very impressive demo! Can't help to but notice that everything was seup for your farming. Great video!

First time I've seen Dan actually clownin' around. A guy's got to have fun sometime!
Another excellent video. Enjoyed the demo.!!
You need about 4 more shanks before it will work that tractor! We run an 8 shank like that on our 8R 410. It works great.

Demonstrate your mythology character exists.
The Case salesman should of given your Dad a spade and said go dig us up one of those rusty cans of money for the tractor...😂
Perty red tractor!
I wanna be like Roy when I grow up!! hahahaha
Good morning Granny how are you doing today, Daniel really enjoyed the video love watching the new tractor and ripper, awesome machine

What a beautiful tractor!
Great video good to see y'all
Good Morning Daniel and Granny.
Daniel, are ya'll buying the Case IH? It sure is a BEAST. How much do they sell for?
I started watching your channel about the time you sent that other red tractor packing. It was having over heating issues I think? They do make some nice looking equipment though huh?
Definitely get the red machine.

THANKS!
Thanks to CaseIH for the demo. Big Joe.
Morning Granny have a great day
Daniel , how many tractor/ engine HP is the case IH ? I am sure you will put it to use , stay safe , enjoy !
Be careful with that weather down there

Good morning from Texas
Great in-line ripper,
Case Ih needs to make a chank protector, they wear fast
A 7250 magnum that's turned up pretty hot will pull 5 shank ripper like the 1 u are using
Love your Channel
I have 2 of the 2500 series in line rippers. I love them. Let me know what you think. I grew up pulling paratills. But would love the feedback.
Why would you not rip behind the tractor wheels to relieve that compaction?
What happened to the old 340?
Frontier CM11, much better cotton module handler than the spears by far! Much less damage on the modules and less to pick up afterwards
In line rippers are a mother to pull, and that 380 seems to be toying with that one...
Points only 9 inches deep but the wings are 2 inches higher, so not doing the job. If it was doing the job there would be a bow wave in front of the legs.
Next time grind rust and paint off before ya weld! Love your videos
Daniel you buy that classy machine you’ll get all that Green Blood out of your body . International Harvester was King years ago.
They were the best, the Leading edge
Howdy triple R farm
thanks for sharing
Or just put on anhydrous in spring set your bar same depth bust compaction
Anhydrous contributes to compaction
no till rippers are the best i had dmi and it blew soil everywhere
Good job guys

Thanks for watching 👍😁
Another good one Daniel 👍 🚜🌽🇺🇲
now thats a sexy tractor. theres somthing about that red paint.. johndeere green is over rated haha
It time to upgrade
Interesting
Just buy a 8 row kmc ripper with John Deere planter and do it all in one pass
10-4 thanks for watching 👍😁
$$$ 270,000 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
But it looks sweet!!!
Keep going. The 380 alone is over 600k I believe
@@sew1194 OMG !!🤯 No wonder there was six or eight sales people out in the field!!
@@sew1194 kind of wonder why he didn't go with the "magnum 400"??
@usmarshall336 dunno, the dealer I'm assuming selected the 380. Seem to be pretty much the same machine.
Ouch, thanks for watching 👍😁
If he was only set at 9 inches he should have brought ypu a 20" machine and set it to 10
30" ripper should have been set at 15 or 16 inches
Going that fast means no serious compaction.....
someone drives up behind those lights there going to crash, day or nite
Get postal digger 😊
Casih get rid of that green
Thanks for watching 👍😁
Don’t care how powerful it is. The John Deere computer system is what makes it so great. It’s very obvious to people that use this stuff.
