What an interesting discussion all you ladies are saying the trurth .Im nearly 57 i pass all threw these symtmps especially mind fog evething . We all women have to pass this change of life its a natural process but we have to listen to our body and a make some changes if so . Menopsuse for me was and still is adifficult process but if we make some effort we win the journey .
What could also be added is that being raised Catholic I was never offered the pill and I’ve always had painful periods. Now at 40 I was shocked to learn that I might be peri menopausal, a word I had never heard before. There is a lot of shame associated with this topic if raised catholic in Malta. However kudos for finally talking about it 👏 it’s unavoidable so we need to learn as much as we can. I actually have the book Corinne mentioned and it helped lots too. Thanks and well done 👍
Thank you for this interview as it helps in hearing other women suffer from the same symptoms and that what you're feeling is normal, even if unpleasant to say the least. I knew about perimenopause because I've always been interested in learning more about the changes in our body, so I tend to research, read and ask my gynae loads of questions. I had my doubts about HRT, but I knew I needed it because, as you said, I wanted my life back. One of my doctors mentioned Bio-identical HRT, which is totally natural. I am currently on it, and it has helped me a lot. Unfortunately, it is way more expensive than the usual HRT though.

red wine classic trigger for hot flushes!
Oh Wow! Really!
Yup - personally not been able to touch it since I hit perimenopause & plenty of small studies correlating this
