I feel like Mark knows he’s doomed, but he at least is going to go down fighting, and dying on his own terms.

I love how you depicted the alternate taking pleasure in the pure rage that mark is emitting, in 4:00 . Its also like he is egging him on, too, which is definitely something alternates do.
I love the fact that even “Gabriel” had to come to fight Mark, and the Alternate had to pretend to be Cesar to get his guard down. It means Mark is strong willed enough to require the literal devil to kill him.
I think why Mark keeps appearing in the franchise is because he dealt with alternate's since he was three, and would know how to deal with them better than anyone if he didn't let Cesar's death get to him too much to the point he let his gaurd down and let his emotions take over him, I see him as the key to defeating the alternates, and going by MatPat's theory exactly what the intruder wants, so maybe the intruder tried to warn him of this situation upcoming but Mark was too young to understand anything
I love how Mark shoots 6 shots before the last one going into his chin. This is a reference to how we saw six empty casings when Thatcher was investigating Mark's home. There is so much attention to detail its shocking. The "Wake up Mark." literally had me in goosebumps, it is a literal CRIME that this does not have more views. Keep up the good work!

Mark is literally the MegaChad of TMC. He kept a whole ass alternate in his house for a few days, managed to survive within the time, and the FNF Community? It just adds a non-canon side note that he had to battle Gabriel, an Alternate and Cesar. And the thoughts of Jonah and Adam in his head. I mean, it's more canon than you'd think! From what we've seen, there was Caesar's alternate with him, one outside his window, and sometime during his last days, he says "Who have I been praying to all this time", which could potentially mean that Satan (The Angel Gabriel), payed a visit to break him further.
For me, Mark was not taken advantage of as a character, among all, he seemed the strongest mentally, and the brave, literal man tries to kill an alternate with a pistol by himself. Good video.
Not to mention we haven't seen a mark alternate (although I may be wrong) as a result of his suicide. Maybe he was too based and no alternate could take his place.
I instinctively shed tears during the duo of Mark and Cesar near the end, the thought of killing your friend would break someone. Although it isn't your friend, So i wholeheartedly agree with Mark getting mad for the alt imitating his dead friend.

Mark was actually infected by M.A.D, as before he was just scared, wanting to go back home. Then, when the effects of M.A.D came in, he started going insane,, scribbling aomething along the lines of "WHO HAVE I BEEN PRAYING TO ALL THIS TIME?", then he attempted to shoot the Alternate, but to no avail. The suicidal urges of M.A.D presumably came in, and Mark shot himself. Since Alternates use M.A.D to kill their victims, Mark never won against the alternates, he lost.

@@connortg5 i mean i dont really know the date of all of his journal entries but im assuming he started scribbling a day or two after being in the room as in the third day he shot himself right? i mean he was already mentally broken he was probably just trying his best to fight it off and in that case well then yes he is strong willed for fighting it off for 2 entire days given that usually the victims kill themselves after just hearing the things the alternates said but we dont really know if the alternate ever told mark that maybe they told him by the third day and thats why he shot himself idk i dont watch enough mandela catalogue lmao

In the last verses of the song, it literally feels like Mark is buying more time by shooting at it, and, not wanting the monster to get him, he says "fuck it" and ends it himself, such a cool portrayal of the scene!

I love how this actually follows the narrative of the series as "NOTHING IS WORTH THE RISK" becomes "NOTHING IS RISK" showing (maybe non-intentionally) how eventually the message changes as the Alternates begin to control the way the news comes to us

words cannot describe how good this is. the instrumental, the vocals, the new additions of gabriel, cesar and adam and jonahs argument really give the feel that this is a final stand off; mark fighting for his life, sanity hanging on by a mere thread. ive been listening to consistently for the past week and it never gets old! i also LOVE the “shots left” addition, it just adds so much more tension, until finally. mark had his eyes wide open. phenomenal job on this man, really hope this continues to gain more and more attention!
If you watch closely at Mark when he says his final "You fucking Bastard" you can see how he shoots himself in the chin - now that's attention to detail.
For me, this really captures marks integrity, Phase 1 of N, he is stronger than ever, and having the information, he is not doubting himself that he will win, and is making sure he can continue winning, Gabriel then comes in, and He starts feeling a bit less confident, thinking "...Is this who I've been praying to my whole life..?" and is starting to shake, but once N comes back, he returns to his own mentality, slightly wavering. After N has shown no signs of giving up, he still continues to fight, not letting this "DEMON" get to him, that is until he impersonates cesar. When he hears Cesar's voice, he starts to break down and get angry, losing his composure. He then starts to panic when N comes back into the room. Slightly scared but more angry than scared before shooting the shots he can. In the end, he accepts his fate, but does not letting the alternate kill him, killing himself to keep him safe. and keep others safe, as so he thought.
1:28, you can almost feel the spontaneous pressure between the Alternate and Mark. It’s fascinating to see a creator using the bass and the voice of the Alternate to trigger a almost perfect fear feeling. I have the thrill every single time hearing this part and it’s because it’s one of my favorite parts between the Alternate and Mark. The fence up feeling, mixed with the fight between the two. Really gives a good risk of getting a fire battle!🔥🔥
In the very first mandela catalogue, they tell 911 operators to not attempt to help a caller reporting an alternate encounter. It was deemed so risky to even talk over the phone with an alternate present at the other side of the line that it could possibly reveal the fears of the operators. It is so unbelievably dangerous to even have an alternate hear you, let alone to hear IT. We see Mark here, so strong-willed he rap battles not only an alternate, but literal SATAN all without being mentally broken. He fights to the bitter end, and likely only takes his own life as he doesn't want whatever painful death the alternate likely would've gave him, and it was just a wiser decision overall to make it quick and painless.

I love how chaotic it gets when Mark has one bullet left. It’s like they know that he’s so close to the tipping point, and just pull out all the stops.
The Alternate is doing everything it can to mentally bring Mark down. Using Cesar’s face and voice to lower his guard, and once it reveals itself, Mark knows what it’s going against. Once Cesar’s part begins, Mark then realizes what this means.. it really settles in that his friend had been dead, and this impostor was toying with him. Which is why the line; “YOU F###### B####!” following up with him firing is impactful. He’s showing anger in his expression, as tears roll down his cheeks. I assume him now utilizing his gun is out of blind rage, or because the Alternate is nearing. Once he bought himself enough time, and his fate was nearly set, he ended it off repeating the line.. and shot himself in the head. Giving the Alternate what it wants, but still putting up a fight.
@Hazaaz Yeahh.. Alternates take the appearance of those they kill in order to get closer to their victims. They wouldn’t spend such a long period of time, especially if that time is multiple years, to fake being someone just for one kill.
Honestly, I just thought at first it would be a generic Triple Trouble like song, but damn I'm so glad I was wrong The use of both Cesar and The False Shepherd are pretty much justified and just add more to this encounter, it just make it's amazing, specially the new voice lines. Dude I don't have any words to express how amazing this is. All those additions like Gabriel appearing mid-song, the alternate trying to convince Mark by turning into Cesar near the end, the gunshots, the Vol. 2 references and the song being extended really makes this remix stand out! I love it!!
In-game concept: In the first half, Mark is on the call with Cesar. Before N comes in, the screen glitches out. After N comes in, the second half begins. Mark pulls out his gun. When Gabriel comes in, the style changes to the Beginner's Bible's style. A mechanic is used where sand covers the screen (since they are now in Israel.) and new sprites are shown depicting Mark hiding behind a rock as his clothes and hair are being affected by the winds of the harsh desert. When N returns, Mark is back at his house, but debris is all over him and the style reverts to normal. There are bullet notes that must be pressed, or a Game Over occurs. When "Cesar" is at Mark's door, it cuts to him looking at the opened door. Flashbacks occur and the bullet notes are gone. In the final section, Mark looks more desperate with him shaking. N is closer to him with a grin on its face. Mark proceeds to shoot more bullet notes, and then when he commits suicide, the screen turns red right after we see one frame of him dead.
I like to think N used Cesar just to destroy mark's morals in later parts of the song, because he was really close to stop fearing by being brave enough to shoot him. And you know the only way to defeat alternatives is to conquer your fears, they cant do anything to you on their own.

This is the first remix of Encounter that is genuinely a remix. Not just changing the instrumental but also remixing some of the vocals too. That's why I don't like so many remixes in the fnf community, because most of them only change the backround music instead of actually changing up the song like a remix is SUPPOSED to do. Massive props to you for this, such a good version of this song and instantly a favorite of mine. Gives Encounter that much needed "hardcore final boss climax" vibe that it needed. Love this all around! Keep up the good work!

Mark remains steadfast even when faced with the flase shepherd, the one who started it all. It isnt until he's reminded of caesar that he finally breaks. Mark has some serious balls on him
and the even better thing is that after the Cesar death reminder, the alternate seems to get bigger or stronger, attacking mark while he’s weak, and even then, mark still kept his ground and shot the alternate 6 times as a desperate measure
I've listened to this song over a hundred times and paid attention to the visuals about 1/3 of the time and only NOW did I notice that just before Mark shoots the last bullet, he's pressing the gun beneath his jaw.

It's a very neat detail how at the very end, you can just barely see Mark point the gun at his chin, before shooting. Overall this video has so much love and care put into everything and I freaking love it. Keep it up, man!
this song is INSANE! i loved the references, this songs expresses the intensity so well, mark tryng too take down the alternate with his hand gun. and its so insane that you could extend a 2 minute song into a 5 minute song! i wonder if something else will happen after the events of this song..? your amazing! best of luck if your making more songs
When facing an alternate, remember: R apping is only nessesary in emergancy situations where all other options are abandonded. E scape as sooon as possible. Prolonged exposure will leave you weak. M entally check upon yourself, don't let alternates mess with your emotions I ntend your actions. Don't make choices that wouldn't make up. X acto's are always needed. A sharp weapon can save you.

This is incredible! I love the shots mechanic, and how you have seven shots, referencing how Officer Thatcher found six empty casings, the dialogues between Jonah and Adam were amazing, Gabriel coming in was a surprise, but a welcome one. Everything here is on par with the Funkdela Catalogue mod itself. Keep up the good work!
In addition to the AMAZING remix it shows that Mark really fought until the part where Gabriel appears, it shows that Mark fought so much that even the Devil himself has to face him face to face but when cesar appears Mark gets carried away by emotions unfortunately that was his mistake
@@Juan-fj7uj I also like how “Gabriel” repeats the line of “Nothing is worth the risk.” It gives the vibe that is the catchphrase of the alternates, and he’s the one who originated it. The words having inflection instead of the robot voice works great there too. (That’s also the only time the words don’t glitch out.)
This is my favorite Encounter remix!!! Everything from the Graphics of watching Mark making his descent into madness. to the fact that there is more than just the alternate in play as they whisper lines from Mandela Catalog in your ear. It’s just a great remix! Continue this great work.

That's the coolest remix for the mod i've heard. It fits the charaters so well. I love how Mark gets more and more desesperate, when he noticies the Alternate tricked him and most probably killed Cesar, and he goes ape sh1t, it's obvious he's griefing and scared, but is pretending to be loud and scary, the "pretend you are not scared when you are terrefied" act fits so well its outstanding!!! Perfectly captures the horror feeling. The way N keeps toying with Mark shows a lot about the way this alternate acts, and at the end it looks like it is "putting wood on fire", by changing it's form to Cesar and smile even wider, while Mark keeps shooting at him, a way to show it is stronger than Mark, and won't die easily, amazing!! When the Sus Gabriel (Yes, that's his fannon name💀) took over it SHOCKED me, i didnt expect it at all, and with adam and jonah?? I never would've TOUGHT of them!! That's so creative. The shots keeping missing N?? It was incredible! Absolutely my new favorite Fnf song/remix!!! 10/10

Holy shit! This is phenomenal! A creative part about this remix is how other character's from the Vol's/episodes, such as Gabriel, Cesar and even Adam and Jonah's argument were added in-beetween, but you can't forget the gunshots. It makes it feel sorta like a boss fight, not just the music making that tense, but the fact that Mark is given a set of: 7 bullets to use, trying to kill N. I love how Mark used his last bullet to reference the part in Vol. 1 at the end (just like in the original mod), great touch! This is the best, better yet the most creative remix for Encounter! Keep up the awesome work!
holy shit, this sounds so good dude! i'm surprised this doesn't have that many views. but then again, fame does take time. i like how you added other characters in, makes this remix very creative. [edit] forgot to point some other stuff out, gabriel's voice for example. really like how it sounds. the shots thingy, that's one of the interesting parts of this remix. i also like the use of voice lines in this. overall, this remix is just spectacular! probably gonna listen to it for the next few months or something.

It goes way beyond any remix for any song I've ever seen, this really has an identity of its own, while I was watching when I thought it couldn't get better...it got better somehow! This really feels like Mark is being tortured by the alternates and is fighting for his life, goddamn!
It really sucks how I have only discovered this today bro this remix is literally top tier remixes are often tricky to make good and to even rival the original ... But this right here nearly overtakes it the references attention detail honestly a chefs kiss if these are the bangers expected from this channel I'm subscribing for sure.
I actually can’t stop listening to this, this is the best encounter remix I think I have ever heard. Just like, ever. It even has a story (if you can call it that) and it’s just an amazing take on it. Absolutely cannot wait until this mod comes out, it’s going to be even better.

I still remember watching this for the first time and being awestruck as "Gabriel" made an appearance. Really gives off the tone of 'these things REALLY want Mark dead,' and I love it!

During the last part with Cesar I like to think mark believes that's really Cesar and the reason he starts shooting is he realizes Cesar is gone and decides to try and take the Alternate who killed his friend down.
the point where cesar shows up is great and towards the end of cesars part mark slowly realises that its one of the alternates tricks is top notch keep up the good work!

I already saw the pinned comment, but I had a whole idea how to implement this mod 0:11 - Mark is negotiating with the creature outside the door (the door is closed, so you can't tell who is behind it) 0:33 - Mark, I have a surprise for you! 0:35 - Alternatives peeps out of the door (that is, he is not in the room yet), and a pistol with cartridges appears near Mark (the same surprise) 1:06 - "OH MY GOD, BEHIND" comes from Mark's phone. Alternatives already in the room 1:29 - The viewing angle shifts, and now we see in the frame not Mark behind the cover and the Alternative in the room, but the back of the Alternative itself, Mark disappears from the frame due to the fact that he is not visible behind the cover and the window in front of him becomes visible Mark 2:06 - The screen fades to black and the only thing visible is the fallen angel Gabriel in the center of the screen 2:11 - The shot changes to the room, the angle changes so that you can see a bit of Gabriel climbing into the room from the window and Mark behind cover (they look into each other's faces) 2:45 - The angle returns to its original position, as at the beginning of the song, Gabriel disappears from the frame (but not from the room). I think why Mark keeps appearing in the franchise is because he dealt with alternate's since he was three, and would know how to deal with them better than anyone if he didn't let Cesar's death get to him too much to the point he let his gaurd down and let his emotions take over him, I see him as the key to defeating the alternates, and going by MatPat's theory exactly what the intruder wants, so maybe the intruder tried to warn him of this situation upcoming but Mark was too young to understand anything

For me, Mark was not taken advantage of as a character, among all, he seemed the strongest mentally, and the brave, literal man tries to kill an alternate with a pistol by himself. Good video.

Mark was actually infected by M.A.D, as before he was just scared, wanting to go back home. Then, when the effects of M.A.D came in, he started going insane,, scribbling aomething along the lines of "WHO HAVE I BEEN PRAYING TO ALL THIS TIME?", then he attempted to shoot the Alternate, but to no avail. The suicidal urges of M.A.D presumably came in, and Mark shot himself.
Since Alternates use M.A.D to kill their victims, Mark never won against the alternates, he lost.

For me, this really captures marks integrity,
Phase 1 of N, he is stronger than ever, and having the information, he is not doubting himself that he will win, and is making sure he can continue winning,
Gabriel then comes in, and He starts feeling a bit less confident, thinking "...Is this who I've been praying to my whole life..?" and is starting to shake, but once N comes back, he returns to his own mentality, slightly wavering.
After N has shown no signs of giving up, he still continues to fight, not letting this "DEMON" get to him, that is until he impersonates cesar.
When he hears Cesar's voice, he starts to break down and get angry, losing his composure.
He then starts to panic when N comes back into the room. Slightly scared but more angry than scared before shooting the shots he can.
In the end, he accepts his fate, but does not letting the alternate kill him, killing himself to keep him safe. and keep others safe, as so he thought.

1:28, you can almost feel the spontaneous pressure between the Alternate and Mark. It’s fascinating to see a creator using the bass and the voice of the Alternate to trigger a almost perfect fear feeling. I have the thrill every single time hearing this part and it’s because it’s one of my favorite parts between the Alternate and Mark. The fence up feeling, mixed with the fight between the two. Really gives a good risk of getting a fire battle!🔥🔥
In the very first mandela catalogue, they tell 911 operators to not attempt to help a caller reporting an alternate encounter. It was deemed so risky to even talk over the phone with an alternate present at the other side of the line that it could possibly reveal the fears of the operators. It is so unbelievably dangerous to even have an alternate hear you, let alone to hear IT. We see Mark here, so strong-willed he rap battles not only an alternate, but literal SATAN all without being mentally broken. He fights to the bitter end, and likely only takes his own life as he doesn't want whatever painful death the alternate likely would've gave him, and it was just a wiser decision overall to make it quick and painless.
He shot himself because the alternate told him too much, and could not take the knowledge, therefore taking his own life. Alternates don’t actually hurt people

The Alternate is doing everything it can to mentally bring Mark down. Using Cesar’s face and voice to lower his guard, and once it reveals itself, Mark knows what it’s going against. Once Cesar’s part begins, Mark then realizes what this means.. it really settles in that his friend had been dead, and this impostor was toying with him. Which is why the line; “YOU F###### B####!” following up with him firing is impactful. He’s showing anger in his expression, as tears roll down his cheeks. I assume him now utilizing his gun is out of blind rage, or because the Alternate is nearing. Once he bought himself enough time, and his fate was nearly set, he ended it off repeating the line.. and shot himself in the head. Giving the Alternate what it wants, but still putting up a fight.
@Hazaaz Yeahh.. Alternates take the appearance of those they kill in order to get closer to their victims. They wouldn’t spend such a long period of time, especially if that time is multiple years, to fake being someone just for one kill.

The use of both Cesar and The False Shepherd are pretty much justified and just add more to this encounter, it just make it's amazing, specially the new voice lines. The "Nothing is worth the risk" and "Wake up, Mark" from Gabriel were specially amazing and sent chills down my spine. Amazing work!

Dude I don't have any words to express how amazing this is. All those additions like Gabriel appearing mid-song, the alternate trying to convince Mark by turning into Cesar near the end, the gunshots, the Vol. 2 references and the song being extended really makes this remix stand out! I love it!!

In-game concept:
In the first half, Mark is on the call with Cesar. Before N comes in, the screen glitches out.
After N comes in, the second half begins. Mark pulls out his gun.
When Gabriel comes in, the style changes to the Beginner's Bible's style. A mechanic is used where sand covers the screen (since they are now in Israel.) and new sprites are shown depicting Mark hiding behind a rock as his clothes and hair are being affected by the winds of the harsh desert.
When N returns, Mark is back at his house, but debris is all over him and the style reverts to normal. There are bullet notes that must be pressed, or a Game Over occurs.
When "Cesar" is at Mark's door, it cuts to him looking at the opened door. Flashbacks occur and the bullet notes are gone.
In the final section, Mark looks more desperate with him shaking. N is closer to him with a grin on its face. Mark proceeds to shoot more bullet notes, and then when he commits suicide, the screen turns red right after we see one frame of him dead.

This is the first remix of Encounter that is genuinely a remix. Not just changing the instrumental but also remixing some of the vocals too. That's why I don't like so many remixes in the fnf community, because most of them only change the backround music instead of actually changing up the song like a remix is SUPPOSED to do. Massive props to you for this, such a good version of this song and instantly a favorite of mine. Gives Encounter that much needed "hardcore final boss climax" vibe that it needed. Love this all around! Keep up the good work!

and the even better thing is that after the Cesar death reminder, the alternate seems to get bigger or stronger, attacking mark while he’s weak, and even then, mark still kept his ground and shot the alternate 6 times as a desperate measure
I've listened to this song over a hundred times and paid attention to the visuals about 1/3 of the time and only NOW did I notice that just before Mark shoots the last bullet, he's pressing the gun beneath his jaw.

i love how you add many iconic parts of the mandela catalogue,like fake gabriel,the "nothing is worth the risk" and "OH MY GOD BEHIND YOU" lines and even N disguising has César.
This is incredible! I love the shots mechanic, and how you have seven shots, referencing how Officer Thatcher found six empty casings, the dialogues between Jonah and Adam were amazing, Gabriel coming in was a surprise, but a welcome one. Everything here is on par with the Funkdela Catalogue mod itself. Keep up the good work!
In addition to the AMAZING remix it shows that Mark really fought until the part where Gabriel appears, it shows that Mark fought so much that even the Devil himself has to face him face to face but when cesar appears Mark gets carried away by emotions unfortunately that was his mistake

That's the coolest remix for the mod i've heard. It fits the charaters so well.
I love how Mark gets more and more desesperate, when he noticies the Alternate tricked him and most probably killed Cesar, and he goes ape sh1t, it's obvious he's griefing and scared, but is pretending to be loud and scary, the "pretend you are not scared when you are terrefied" act fits so well its outstanding!!! Perfectly captures the horror feeling.
The way N keeps toying with Mark shows a lot about the way this alternate acts, and at the end it looks like it is "putting wood on fire", by changing it's form to Cesar and smile even wider, while Mark keeps shooting at him, a way to show it is stronger than Mark, and won't die easily, amazing!!
When the Sus Gabriel (Yes, that's his fannon name💀) took over it SHOCKED me, i didnt expect it at all, and with adam and jonah?? I never would've TOUGHT of them!! That's so creative.

Holy shit! This is phenomenal! A creative part about this remix is how other character's from the Vol's/episodes, such as Gabriel, Cesar and even Adam and Jonah's argument were added in-beetween, but you can't forget the gunshots. It makes it feel sorta like a boss fight, not just the music making that tense, but the fact that Mark is given a set of: 7 bullets to use, trying to kill N. I love how Mark used his last bullet to reference the part in Vol. 1 at the end (just like in the original mod), great touch! This is the best, better yet the most creative remix for Encounter! Keep up the awesome work!

It goes way beyond any remix for any song I've ever seen, this really has an identity of its own, while I was watching when I thought it couldn't get better...it got better somehow! 0:35 - Alternatives peeps out of the door (that is, he is not in the room yet), and a pistol with cartridges appears near Mark (the same surprise)
1:06 - "OH MY GOD, BEHIND" comes from Mark's phone. Alternatives already in the room
1:29 - The viewing angle shifts, and now we see in the frame not Mark behind the cover and the Alternative in the room, but the back of the Alternative itself, Mark disappears from the frame due to the fact that he is not visible behind the cover and the window in front of him becomes visible Mark
2:06 - The screen fades to black and the only thing visible is the fallen angel Gabriel in the center of the screen
2:11 - The shot changes to the room, the angle changes so that you can see a bit of Gabriel climbing into the room from the window and Mark behind cover (they look into each other's faces)
