The comparison for me is almost always that, the DC Direct versions look like they jumped out of the game in terms of accuracy and sculpt but Mcfarlane are better for posing and articulation. Wish we had the best of both worlds sometimes but both are still fantastic
I agree with you, the sculpt goes to DC Direct, but the articulation is much better on McFarlanes version. I really hope I can find the McFarlane version soon
I got this in greater Miami fl area when on vacation. There was only one in any of 4 or five stores I took a quick look in. I never played the game but this is awesome. Mcfarlane said about making cool looking figures and he’s definitely right! I set this up with hazmat Batman to protect himself from titanic formula. I love your story line photos you have in your videos! That’s one thing that makes you stand out among reviewers.

@@dHuntersReviews So, which is ultimately better? Fit/ finish or articulation? The older version has more detail and scale but barely any articulation, as per your comparison. The McFarlane release obviously is the opposite. What the new one lacks can be added onto, if one so wishes to do that.
DC Direct is better, but MacFarlane makes awesome sculpts with great articulation too. DC looks more like it was designed to really mimic the video game look. It's a tough call though.

They both cool but the new one looks more realistic and like the joker. The dc direct hands, lats, and delts are comic exaggerated. Its the buyers preference. The review narration is kinda scary. It almost sounds like serial killer.
If I can remember correctly there is a Arkham knight scarecrow figure coming out it was leaked if you want some true leaks there is a Chanel called mcfarlane toys dc multiverse verse also if you put a black light on this figure his veins glow

He looks exactly the same in Arkham city as he did in Arkham Asylum unless you count the sick version It will be the exact same figure with a different head they still have not made the Arkham city Batman

Yeah pretty consistent, DC direct looks better but McFarlane is an overall better figure and better functionality
