This paint scheme is an homage to the original Kenner Batman Forever figure that had a black cowl, gloves and boots. Same as the 89 Batman that came with the Batmobile was an homage to the Kenner Dark Knight collection with the gold bat symbol.
That is crazy to do with the main release.
@@dHuntersReviews It is, but that's the McFarlane game! However, on this release it makes sense to me as it retains the special/exclusivity of the 6-pack.
Which figure would that be? I don't think there's a Kenner release with this color scheme

My predictions:
Clooney body repaint with new Kilmer head for "panther"
Bulid A Bane wave with final fight repaint versions of Batgirl and Robin with Sonar Suit repainted with Clooney head
I honestly hope so. The Sonar Suit and Ice Suits are exactly the same I believe. The regular suits are damn close.
I just did that, carefully paint yellow on the Clooney body emblem, waiting for that Kilmer head. But the body is already perfect as a panther suit now.
I used Bane mcfarlane last knight on earth that I repainted for a B&R Bane, green with dark green veins 🤣 looks good enough. Freeze needed a big repaint also, to match the silver with the head and adding light blue in so many more places that it previously did…
Yeah, Freeze is a great figure with a bland paint job.

Luckily I was able to get the six pack version too. McFarlane should fix those little detail issues. Do you think well get that panther suit figure? I hope it won't be a platinum edition.

I bet it's just a stupid mistake. Doubt they give a crap about the secondary market value of their older figures. That doesn't help them financially at all.
Batman Forever and Batman & Robin were the best Batman movies.

McFarlane does not like doing simple re-releases do they? Always some minor paint variation. In this case doing it for the sake of keeping the more accurate looking one exclusive to the 6 pack. I don't like that at all. I would've preferred a wired cape with the same metallic paint over this secondary black scheme. This is definitely the worst of the Forever wave in my opinion and it's Batman!
They have before, but not usually. As a collector, I'm happy it's different, but it's wrong.
Really wish they give us 1940's Batman TV series,in Black & White color.
There's just one thing I can't get over with the George Clooney Batman figure. His cowl had just the biggest/thickest ears on the screen used suit, but it wasn't accurately translated to figure form.
In the shot where you have all the film figures lined up, George Clooney Batman actually has the thinnest ears.
I think the shape of the cowl is what takes away the most from the likeness of George Clooney Batman.

It’s too bad that you didn’t bring out the Michael Keaton flash Batman figure to go with that Val Kilmer figure. Because it makes sense since Keaton was supposed to be in Batman forever when Tim Burton was going to direct before Joel Schumacher came along and screwed up the whole franchise along with Warner bros. Even though I liked Batman forever as much as the 1989 film and returns, I hated Batman and Robin 2 years after.
Flash movie Keaton is sort of an older Kilmer Batman also

Bought this but then decided to return for the wrong paint scheme. Especially annoying cus they did it right the first time. Smh
It’s grossly inaccurate, but as someone that has both, I’m glad they are different!
To me, Val Kilmer was one of the third best Batmans ever apart from Michael Keaton who was the first and Christian Bale who is second. I hated George Clooney after Kilmer left. I wasn’t crazy about Batman and Robin at all. To me in 1997 the saint with Val Kilmer was better, so was men in black with Tommy Lee Jones, and liar liar with Jim Carrey was good.
Kilmer is my favorite 90s Batman. He played a killer Bruce and a great Batman

Yeeeeea, this is a skip for me. The colors on this is god awful. I don’t care if its a homage to whoever, the color doesn’t look right or good at all. The lighting in the room doesn’t help. The shiny metallic should be all over. Weird how they didn’t do the normal Panther suit and just went straight to the movies final suit.
