From time-to-time we post some commercials that were part of the original broadcast of KIDS Incorporated to give you all the feels of nostalgia. Here is a Barbie commercial in 1080p that aired during the season 2 KIDS Inc. ep "A Lad and His Lamp" airing in 1985.

I was the target market for this, and it was a peak even in its time. The dolls were so cool I couldn’t relate to them lolol I didn’t even bother asking for one but I watched all the TV offerings. Including this commercial at every opportunity!!
Jem and the Holograms have nothing on her.
But, Jem was truly outrageous!
At least the show was. The dolls...eeeh.
And Jem had more memorable songs...Until the Live Action film.

Girl bye. That’s why Jem had a few seasons of a show and Barbie had one special. They took the Jem concept out of the trash literally to even get this concept.
I think this waa edited, disney never had product advertising because it was a paid premium channel
Victor Asack It’s not edited. Before kids Inc. went to Disney Channel seasons one and two was syndicated.

So do you know if Amber will be part of the Barbie and the Rockers reunion tour? I hear there will be a new album which focuses more on their introspective side. It should be well worth the wait for all of us who are fans, especially after almost 40 years of side projects and solo gigs.
As for being abused by the industry, totally hear ya on that.
You see, back when the group first started out in California the Rockers were having plenty of fun. But once they hit it big, everything changed. Suddenly, there were all these business meetings, publicity appearances, video and photo shoots, sponsorship deals. Before long, it just wasn't about the music anymore. That's when I heard Amber left the group because she was saddened that it just wasn't about the music anymore. And I guess it just kinda fell apart after that with the other members too. But I have sincere hopes that with the benefit of some time away it helps them to gain some new perspectives as to how they can work together once again like they did in the early days😍
