What a fun run down/discussion! Libby happened to have an available copy and I just finished it for the first time yesterday. There's some things that I didn't know how to feel about or wasn't in my radar, so y'all helped me better understand the vision and my own thoughts on it. So thanks! With everything recontextualized, I think I appreciate it more now than I did yesterday. When they were in the mountains, I wasn't necessarily in love with the Tamlin interactions because before I was really enjoying the Beauty and the Beast inspired interactions before Feyre went back home. Tamlin seemed pathetic by his extreme inaction/ passive behavior in the mountain section, so it originally left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm not 100% sold on Rhysand, but I can tell they'll have a very interesting arc. I think people are too harsh in their sentiments on this series, it isn't for everybody, but what it's doing is really well thought out and I'm glad that it's being enjoyed by so many folks. I don't know if I'll get to the 2nd book, but I'm at least more intrigued now.

I always wondered if the reason Tamlin just sat there was cause he had a heart of stone and didn't feel the need to do anything. Still iffy about Rhys having her chug wine and blackout 😅
