Beautiful! I am lucky to have an ample supply of white feathers of all sizes. My neighbors rooster comes around a lot because I will feed him. He leaves me a lot of feathers behind in all different sizes. I collect some every day and put them in a plastic zipper bag. :) - Heidi
He is! I loved having all the chickens around and I miss them. The one rooster is all that is left now. He gave most of the others away. He used to have other roosters and some hens. There were these beautiful roosters also that were hatched. It is hard to explain their coloring but I have several lovely feathers from them as well. I have video of the chickens and am a little surprised I never uploaded them to my channel. Maybe I will.
Is there any chance that you might be able to make a printable of the wing sketch, because I cannot draw wings good and I always end up making it not the way I wanted it to.

Would probably be possible. It would probably require you to do some sort of wire-crossing within the frame to reinforce the frame and ensure it won't collapse in on itself, and since you obviously can't make it choke you, it'd require some sort of harness, as well.

Derpy Girl I would think this would only work if you had enough of a skeleton inside the wing to hold it up. An a strap to put over your own body to support the weight of the wings. That's just my guess. There are people who make human size wings like this

Would it be possible to make a bigger size of this (life size). I wanted cosplay wings that curved in. Like in lucifer when he puts his wings around Chloe (it was the only way I could describe it). But since you used wires I'm not sure how to achieve this. Any tips?
this will be perfect to make my pure Sailor Moon doll with it's the form when she's fighting Galaxia she's naked but it's Japanese it was no big deal I probably also do it for Eternal Sailor Moon to

Jenn K that would probably work, but you'd want to find a way to fix the pastel on the feathers without making the fluff clump. an airbrush might be a better way to go.
It is nice you changed the background but you can lower the light a little bit for us to see how you are gluing the white feathers at white fabric better :-)
Dawn of Art -All you would do is use larger feathers. My daughter has a life size pair of wings I purchased as we were in a mad rush. They are made with Turkey feathers I believe. I wouldn't be hard to make them. I agree just a good comfortable supportive harness attached so they stay in place and don't annoy you. Also use strong but light materials. They are a bit heavy but completely doable.

MusicXS I'd try liquid latex or glue. A layer or two of latex, place some wire where the bones of the wing would be, and apply latex only over the wire for a raised effect
I would love to see you make Castiel from supernatural. He has black wings though. But would be fun if you painted a doll like him and also do the rest of the cast from supernatural :)

You can. Just use a heavier wire. You may have trouble finding feathers big enough though lol

Bailing wire would hold the frame of human size. I am sure there are big feathers like ostrich for you to use

Can you start with white feathers and add colored pastels to the feathers after the wings are completed?
