Actually what I like about World Trigger is that there's no one imbalanced(even side effects, black triggers etc) You see progression of characters, how they become stronger, or develop their talents etc. The rules of the world trigger universe are simple, but they have such a great potential. Only one look at the neighbor countries has IMMENSE potential. Each country is unique, with their own tech, people, laws etc. That's why I fell in love with this universe And of course black trigger potential. Their own will, conditions to make them. I think somewhere in the future Osamu will get his hands on a black trigger. I don't know how and when, but it'll happen

I think somewhere in the middle of the away mission or after they retrieve Replica or somewhere further Yuma will die and Osamu will get his black trigger. Didn't you notice that abilities of Yuma's black trigger are extremely suitable for weak guys such as Osamu. Seals, copying techniques etc. It sounds a bit a bit absurd but I have a point here

My headcanon currently, given that 1. Black Triggers boost Trion amount of the user, and 2. Osamu is becoming a pretty decent tactician. that he’s going to end up using Fujin. Jin has shown us how tactical using it is, or rather how using it tactically is using it optimally, and Osamu would be perfect to use it like that. Its abilities would also really overcome how limited his kit is in combat. I think ultimately tho, Osamu is the type of character who would either use it only as a last resort, or who would reject its use because its a crutch, and he recognizes his limitations in that regard, as he said to Kuga, if he ran away once, he knows he’ll become a coward who only ever runs away.
Warning: Possible Spoiler Alert I think the reason why black triggers are so rare that even if they have the capacity to sacrifice someone to create a black trigger, they all need the right and extreme condition to increase the chances of succefully creating a black trigger. In Yuuga's father case, his son was dying in front of him, what else could he do but save him by sacrificing himself. As for black trigger previously held by Jin, it was created during the massive invasion of their allied neighbor were out of the many original border agents numbering more than 20, only a few returned home. All of them have both the emotional anchors and extreme conditions of warfare that could enforce the conviction of the sacrificed person. That's why border warfare consist of infiltration and sabotage, war of attrition, or a surprise attack, lowering the windows of opportunities for black trigger to be created.
I love the fact of that, during a war the losing side can have black triggers show up so you can’t try to completely wipe out the opposing force. It’s like the random power up boost characters get in anime when they are losing but it’s explained why World Trigger is really a top notch series I love it.
I'm sorry, the first time the story mentioned 'black trigger' and showed it in combat vs a bunch of regular triggers, i lost my $#!%. The concept is so amazing and cool, and it's balanced by the fact that you have to choose 1 trigger at a time, and your ultimate power can be taken from you. That coupled with a compatability limit, black triggers are massively balanced in this universe.
I know right it's literally so cool? But realistic cause someone basically dies for it to be made😭for holders like Jin & Yuma it's more than just a weapon it's something connected to their emotions🥺they lost ppl extremely close to them to get that power. I really want to see the greedy side of WT directors & agents to understand the complexity and value of those triggers,not just a power boost but literally someone's life is being used.

I really want to see Jins past since we already know Yumas & as per what I can gauge from the manga,Jins mentor who created Fujin was of Kidos Age,so they were probably the 1st trigger users & creators of border so he must have been a really important figure.
When he gave Fujin away, the way the anime showed his face let like..no words needed it was just clear how incredibly tough that decision was. I never resented any character as much as Kido in that moment 🗡️
Really gucci vid! Love the added stuff you talked about like Replicas Line about nations explaining nations try and not to beat a rivals nations too hard in risk of creating a Black Trigger! There's some stuff that was missed like how Yuma's dad passed on his side effect to Yuma after he created his Black Trigger, that could link back to what you said about side effects increasing the chances. Another neat thing is that Black Triggers have their own Separate Trion Body, normally after deactivating your Trigger you couldn't reactivate it for a bit even if your were undamaged but Black Triggers allow you access to a sorta extra Trion body shown with Miwa deactivating his trigger then going into Fujin (hence why they don'thave bail outs) , also backed up with BBF showing that a users Trion gets added on top of the black trigger (Jin going from 7 Level Trion to 37 with his black trigger) still an amazing video! Love the insight you gave with the reason why Black Trigger users can't go on away missions with Border really great video keep up the good work! 👍
and the difficulties of black triggers are not only in creation chances. You need to find a person that can operate with this trigger. Remember borboros? That trigger almost consumed person that was using it

love the advocating for a D rank lol. I've also noticed One Punch Man ranks heroes the same way as world trigger does with A B C and S, so maybe it's an anime thing?
Nah D rank should be a special rank for the kids that have little to no Trion that are experimented on by border to see if they can manually and quickly increase the Trion level of someone by a very large amount instantly.
I would assume it is because they dont have any control over their Trion. I think only masters of control and people desperate enough can become black triggers. So since nobody knew of Trion even 4 years prior l the old people sadly wont have the skill necessary.

Yes this is very possibly true as well. It is most likely the case that the person must be in a state 9f emergency.

Apart from trion they also use all life energy to create a black trigger. That's why they die after.
