Stop lying, the pads in those helmets would have rotted solid (think I don't know? My dad still has his old helmet from then and the ears are rotten solid and the head pads are nearly
This was three years ago before the Vicis helmet came out. Also before better Xenith, the Schutt F7 and the Riddell SpeedFlex precision fit made their appearances.
Ok first of all, you are 10 and on the internet, don't you need your parents permission? Secondly, do you know what grammar is? Lastly, Riddell stopped producing the 360.
Been using Speed Flex helmets since ‘17. Had a mild concussion (pretty bad hit no helmet could fully prevent), still swear by them as the best and most comfortable helmets.
+ Samuel Yi, This is a dated video from 2014. In the most recent NFL testing the VICIS helmet was ranked first. Here are the rankings. www.playsmartplaysafe.com/resource/helmet-laboratory-testing-performance-results/
VCIS has forced other companies to get serious about helmet advancement. The greedy bastards at these companies should have addressed this issue much sooner. This should have happened years ago. And the NFL knew about this problem years ago and did not address it until it was forced to by the work of brain researchers.
It would be great if they do. I am not a rep for any of these companies, I just want players to be safe. I just think VCIS has really raised the standard and hope that all the major companies will continue to do so to make greater significant strides in making helmets safer.
I have gotten 3 concussions in 1 season, but that was in a Schutt DNA helmet... I have made the switch to the speedflex, and even though i am bigger now, and the league i play in is more violent, i have not received a concussion this season. The Speedflex is a great helmet
Xenith seems to make a pretty good helmet. My son loves his. Says it feels like a pillow inside. Watching the video of the x2e they seem to be addressing the rotational part of head collisions.
Head injury is not mainly in tackling its on line. Linemen collide heads every single play in every game. When tackled good or bad the person getting tackled is falling to the ground banging his head into the ground regardless of how the tackle was made.
I don’t know if it works but the only way to avoid concussion is to have a helmet that absorbs the contact before it reaches the skull or just avoid the head
Safety comes at a price that is too expensive for almost all football programs in the country. If they truly cared about our kids safety they would bring the price point down.
This test is bullshit most concussions are rotational impacts especially in hockey they say the warrior krown 360 is the best hockey helmet on the market just cause it absorbs some direct impact where they rated the re-akt 100 lower when the suspend tech 2 liner protects against those rotational impacts
exactly. except in foptball virginia tech only tests hitting in the front of the helmet. the NFL tests front, side and back hitting. virginia tech is bull crap
You want parents to see this and like this new crap but look at the price tag you put on it. For bendy plastic and some cushions. Not a lot of schools will buy
Only public schools have the money to buy this, I got to a privately funded school and we just got the revolutionary speed helmets this year but my local public school has hundreds of these speed flex helmets
I understand your point here, but my school just bought 60 of the Speedflex helmets underneath my and our AD’s suggestions. I go to a good Catholic private school and usually in bulk orders they’ll knock off some money.
But does this testy consider the whiplash effect? And I don't feel good about the SG. It does not seem very durable on the inside or outside. It also feels comfortable on the inside. I have one from 2013. I have doubts that the carbon fiber will endure impacts. Will the carbon fiber crack?
Thanks for answering in such a professional manner. I do think you should change the inside padding system though, as well as come up with something for rotational impacts.
iSK my middle school that I played for back in the day almost got sewed by a parent who's kid got concussed. I remember I had 3 concussion In middle school alone. They were forced to buy new helmets for the first time in 8 years
Michael Strahan knows the facts at the end
Im playing junior high school football and I have a 25 year old helmet
+sam Fawcett what helmet?
Man that fucking sucks you can't use helmets older than 10 years
Stop lying, the pads in those helmets would have rotted solid (think I don't know? My dad still has his old helmet from then and the ears are rotten solid and the head pads are nearly
well my helmet has rotted solid sooooo...
sam Fawcett bullshit the school isn't allowed to use helmets older than 10 years
Lead with your head, it's the hardest part of your body
Liam Bell lmao

This was three years ago before the Vicis helmet came out. Also before better Xenith, the Schutt F7 and the Riddell SpeedFlex precision fit

I had head injuries when I was 9 and know I'm ten and its okay so that's why in 7th and 8th grade I'm getting the riddell 360
How I'm I a retard
At least I have a life.
Ok first of all, you are 10 and on the internet, don't you need your parents permission? Secondly, do you know what grammar is? Lastly, Riddell stopped producing the 360.
Mike Hunt facts and roasted a 10 year old hahah
What if his parents granted permission
Been using Speed Flex helmets since ‘17. Had a mild concussion (pretty bad hit no helmet could fully prevent), still swear by them as the best and most comfortable helmets.
Not now. The VCIS Zero1 helmet is the best.

Notice the NFLPA testing didn't put riddell at the top. XENITH EPIC is the number one helmet.
Becky Whitman I have a Xenith Epic helmet and I don't feel anything when I get hit
its the most awesome helmet in my opinion
It’s shutt
Yeah sure...I'm a running back for my high school and I get tackled 100 times per game.
I’m using the $1000 Vicis helmet
I have gotten 3 concussions in 1 season, but that was in a Schutt DNA helmet... I have made the switch to the speedflex, and even though i am bigger now, and the league i play in is more violent, i have not received a concussion this season. The Speedflex is a great helmet

Luckily we use speed flexes nothing older than 2015 but going into my freshman high school year we are getting even better Helmets.
Cam freshys don’t get the new gear
Safety comes at a price that is too expensive for almost all football programs in the country. If they truly cared about our kids safety they would bring the price point down.
I thought it was about reducing deceleration... a sudden stop is what causes injury.
Learn how to tackle. Wise words.
no, the best helmet os vicis

+undeadkillerz6 i got my concussion from my head hitting the ground not from direct impact
We aren't talking about hockey, they have completely different designs
Where did hockey come from?
Riddell VSR is the best helmet
virginia tech represent
Unless they find a way for your brain not to move at all inside your cranium so that a player does not feel the impact
Virginia tech university...

With whiplash the helmet would flex like a cushion would if you fell on it
To make it safer, tackle the right way
That's my helmet
I would get a speed flex but 400 dollars fuck that shit
All that technology. But using a stick to release the helmet lol!
But it seems that the helmet would be stopped from bending in by the players head
No, cause all the pads inside would compress against the players head allowing the helmet to flex
We’re my Hokies at
U meant hoggies? 😂😂🤣
we still use helmets from 2010
Reese Huth we use them from 2007, unless youre lucky and get the newer ones
iSK my middle school that I played for back in the day almost got sewed by a parent who's kid got concussed. I remember I had 3 concussion In middle school alone. They were forced to buy new helmets for the first time in 8 years
My school uses helmets from 2006.
Common FaX my school got a grant to get all new speed flex’s and xtes
