    What a concept we are striking because we have to go to work union mentality

    • @pyRoy6
      @pyRoy6 22 дня назад +9

      Kind of a weird take. The union is demanding that the government abide by the agreement that ended the strike. Even if the government has found a loophole in the wording, it seems reasonable that the union would want them to adhere to the spirit of the agreement. Specifically, everyone who has been successfully doing their work under their current arrangements should be allowed to continue to do so. And that goes for all workers, not just this one union.

    Seeing how the taxpayers have to pay for those half empty buildings, would it make sense to have the employees take a pay cut as their car insurance would go down, less car repairs, less gas used? Their cost of living goes down. Eat at home is cheaper. No after school daycare. No purchasing office clothes. I get it, it's a sweet deal.
    Taxpayers also pay wages for public servants, and we are having a hard time putting food on the table and gas in our tank.
    There has to be a pay off. By the way, my boss laughed at me when I asked to work from home. What are we gonna do with an empty desk, real-estate is expensive and the wasted space is gonna cost the company. I complied. So much for satin pj's all day and night. I'm bummed.
