That allotment is such a lovely place. Even a bad paint day couldn’t dampen the spirits! You make my heart happy and light, and I hope yours is as happy as mine.
I am so glad your plants are growing! To see everything grow says so much about you Sarah. The dedication and work you have put in to your allotment are turning out great rewards. I am excited to see when you have to harvest and produce your own food. The wigwam is a wonderful addition for the children to enjoy reading. Fantastic idea Sarah! I am truly amazed about how many things you accomplish with much energy. Keep up the amazing work you are doing. Have a wonderful week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

Aww Sarah I love Mondays knowing you've put a video up. I love your sign and the wigwam. So happy for you seeing all your plants flourishing. I always leave your videos feeling really happy....thank you xx
If this was filmed in April I can imagine how wonderful and lush everything is looking now and you have reaped some of your harvest. Looking forward to see how pumpkins and squash climb up the arch. Have not seen that before. haha I planted a pumpkin plant in one part of my yard and it spread everywhere and I only had one small pumpkin from it. Well done!
Sorry , missed the live again but have really enjoyed this episode. Your allotment is looking really nice, well done , your hard work is paying off . Xx
Sarah all your hard work is paying you back 10 gold. Your allotment is looking so lovely. Everything growing so well so far. By now i bet it looks really lush. Green leaves sprouting everywhere. You should feel very proud of your achievements. What a beautiful place to take the children. Having pow wows in the tepee. Mmm i can taste those potatoes. They will be lovely. When your pumpkins and squashes grow, I'd love to know what you do with them. I love making pumpkin soup and i usually roast squash, though that quite often hoes into making a good hearty vegetable soup too. Mmm it appears i am now hungry. 😂 Catch you next time. X
@@carolekinsey7835 I use my pumkins for autumn displays I don’t eat them . Things are mostly lush but it’s been so cold and wet that not everything is doing well
Sarah , if the chance of frost is gone you don't need the cones. But if you don't get much rain & have hot dry days ... you really need to give all your plants a good saturation/ soaking of water ! Btw , if you eat bananas , put the skins in a gal. bucket of water & let them soak 3 days . Add that banana water to your watering cans and use it on your garden ! Its a natural way to give things like potassium and things like that to help them grow . Research it to see what nutrients the peels have in them .also , I threw egg shells & banana peels right in my garlic bed thru the year & planted in the fall & also used that water on them and my hardneck garlic are as big as a mans palm ! I couldn't believe it !
you are doing a good job Sarah it tickles me when you started a while back saying you would call that jam jar a condiment jar and i agreed with and you said don't tell Mic IT was funny the other day when mic was behind you and you was going to take the jam jar that had a hole in the bottom for drainage you call it planter and you was going to take it, ,i didn't know if you did or not after you said don't tell Mic and he said don't tell Mic what ,you said i didn't say anything that tickled me so good when you acted sooo innocent like Mic was hearing things and you looked in the camera so innocent like .tickled me so good. you made my day. Josephine-U.S.A
I like your Mick. Just remember don’t overcrowd your plantings. Soaking the seeds was an excellent suggestion. We are having moderate drought conditions so my garden is suffering. I would like to give it a good soaking but conserving water is a priority. The corn in the local farmers fields are in worse shape than my garden. We are watering a bit but the garden needs several hours of soaking. I would rather lose my small plot than to be on restricted water usage.
Some say not to plant pumpkin and winter squash near each other b/c they can end up tasting exactly the same ! While others say it's no problem & can be beneficial to each other ! Hope you don't end up with funky tasting squash or pumpkins ! I do know you can plant butternut & acorn squash next to one another w/o any problems ( I did two years ago and they were both fine ) . Wishing you good luck & a good crop !
Two different squash might cross but the fruit of these plants we I'll be true to their variety. If you plant the cross pollinated seeds that's when they look and taste different
I was tired of people calling me a klutz every time I hurt myself while trying to fix or construct something. Like you I do repurpose things and there is no end to it :) So my reply is just that. Nothing happens to people that do nothing And you may pinch that phrase.
Sarah, are you limited on how much water you are allowed to use? Rooted plants will be happiest if the ground is watered to a depth of about 6” (half a gallon per square foot). Seeds will want more water too.
Sorry Sarah but I laughed quite loudly at your brown paint fiasco. I thought that kind of thing only happened to me. You recovered quite nicely though. ✌️💚
