Judoka Yung Wei Yang of Taipei was the sensation U60kg at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and claimed a silver medal. He took bronze at the Worlds in 2022 in Tashkent. Yang won the East Asian Championships Hong Kong in 2016. Yang was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for juniors U60kg in 2017. He clinched a silver medal at the Asian Pacific Championships in 2019. He took various IJF World tour medals in Qingdao, Hohhot, Budapest and Tashkent. He took silver at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. He bagged a gold medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2022 and bronze in 2021.
Temur Nozadze
Country: Georgia | Born: 23 January 1998 (24 years)
Temur Nozadze won a silver medal at the European Cadet Championships U18 Athens in 2014 and Nozadze won a bronze medal at the EYOF in Tbilisi in 2015. He won the European team title for Cadets in 2015. He took a bronze medal at the Grand Prix Tbilisi in 2018. He took a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2019. He claimed the silver medal at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2019. He took bronze at the European U23 Championship in 2019 in Izhevsk and silver in 2020 in Porec. He bagged Grand Slam gold in Tbilisi in 2021 and 2022. He claimed a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Budapest in 2022.
