I am OK with creators striking a balance between length and feasibility. (I think 30 mins is the sweet spot, anything more is nice bonus.) Longer vids mean more material to record.
Though I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth, so I like me some sweet 40 mins vids.

i was hoping he'd realize the pipe behind ludwig would have to go somewhere in the overworld, so he could just enter from behind the garbage and skip that whole section
I'm not sure the Lakitu cloud would have lasted long enough to get there in the main world, but yeah you could skip almost everything that way
The level had a Ludwig kill condition, so he needs to kill a Ludwig somewhere.
@@thekilla1234 If he had gone up the pipe above the goal the thwomp would have killed Ludwig as soon as he popped out in the sub world, so that would have been no problem

I don't understand how or why people come up with these levels that are: 'look around for the hidden block in order to progress'
They aren't fun... and extremely dull to design and upload... so they literally had no fun making and playing the level just to spite the community.
Some people just want to watch the world burn
I think they're in that mindset that "the harder to beat, the better the level" as if it's a competition and they want other people to fail but they can't let skill be the factor in designing hard levels because they don't have any.

After a decent amount of research Ryu should do a tier list of uncleared garbage categories.
I think the easier solution for the last level would be if you fly directly to the pipe above the goal and get in there. Then you just need the thwomp to kill Ludwig and go back to the goal, no need for a mushroom or the spring drop. Of course it depends on whether the Lakitu cloud lasts long enough but it looked like it could work :)

Ryukahr's japanese is flawless.
What was happening with the hidden blocks in that last level is that when you hit a winged hidden block and then reset the room, it becomes a regular block in the place where it initially spawned. That’s what those weird blocks were, and why resetting the room didn’t give you back the winged hidden blocks. Hope that makes sense

This is the first time I've heard Ryu say "that wasn't so bad" that I agreed. His version of "that wasn't so bad" is usually more along the lines of scaling Mount Everest juggling two springs while a saw chases him.
I've finally figured it out! When Ryu feels a bit chilly, he doesn't bother turning up the AC/Heating, he just plays some Hot Garbage Mario Maker levels to warm up.

Maybe it wouldn't have worked, but the cheese potential of just taking the cloud to the end and going in that pipe -> Thwomp kills Ludwig -> Back in the pipe to win seems like it would have been easier. Just depends if the cloud would have lasted long enough.

to be fair, you could have just gone to the ending pipe in the overworld (assuming it wasn't covered by hidden blocks) and get the free kill on ludwig then come back, avoiding the fireball section in the underworld, i am sure the cloud would have lasted long enough
Ryu should take up learning Japanese katakana. It would only take a week to master it, and he can read a good deal of the Japanese titles that pop up here. The term "speedrun" itself is written in katakana.
