"Spring has sprung, the grass has riz, I wonder where the birdies is" was something my mom often said 45-50 years ago. "Birdie, birdie in the sky. Dropped some whitewash in my eye. Me no baby, me no cry, me just glad the cows don't fly." was another rhyme she said...

Spring of deception then false spring, winter 2.0 then tease of spring greening. Don't plant any tinder crops till after Mothers day.

Chuck it’s so awesome you showing Jacob things. I never had this growing up. I’m just now learning in my 40’s from your channel and a few others. Hopefully he will pass the knowledge ahead. God bless

I am lucky to have spent almost a year working here and learning so much from Chuck and Saundra and I will continue to learn more over the next summer as I continue to work here

Wow! Jacob is responding! Good job man. If you always are open to learning, you’ll never get bored, always be sought after, and be happier.

    Two things:
1- I’m on a road trip and just “listened” to this while driving (watched when I got settled)… your music selection is outstanding. Good job to whoever picks that out.
B- Chuck you are a great teacher! Well done. You have patience and a logical approach.
3- Jacob replied to a comment. Big deal. My youngest son thinks ANYONE on RUclips is famous. Haha

I know what you mean Chuck, we had a record high yesterday at 75 degrees, here in SWMO, but today it was 45 degrees rain off and on. Only 43 more days until spring.

You are proving the truth of the statement that hope springs eternal in the human breast. Keep trying even with a difficult discipline and you will achieve some measure of success. I pray that your gardening goes well this year. Fresh veggies as so much better.
I decided to start all my seeds in the garden and do away with indoor starts. Even my tomatoes and peppers are up to join the other row veggies so I am hopeful. I decided this last year after harvesting more tomatoes from a volunteer plant than from my carefully watched over indoor starts. They seem to catch up even though the indoor starts look better at first.

I’m right in sync with you guys. Been cleaning the chicken houses and goat barns out getting the manure on the gardens so it mellows down in time for spring planting. And yes running those chickens on the garden will make a HUGE difference. You’ll see. And kudos for being patient and training that young man properly. 👍🏽

In the northeast, we always refer to the late spring snow as “Poor man’s fertilizer”. Those usually happen after you’ve got the lawn raked and chicks on pasture come late April.

Few things you forgot to tell the Mr Boy about trailer hook up why you crossed the chains you crossed the chains just case the trailer ever pops off and the tongue of the trailer does not dig into the ground plus I did not see any electric emergency brake cable on your trailer if you have trailer brakes there should be an electric emergency cable that gets pulled out if your trailer ever comes off and your trailer breaks engage And I didn't see any luck put on that battery compartment so the lid doesn't flip open
