I have the exact same desoldering station. Most of the time just sits there waiting, but when it's needed it's a life saver.

Waste of money, My completely died after 6 months. Would not even turn on. I got so upset I didn't even try to fix it. I just picked up a Hakko 301. You buy cheap you buy twice.
yeah, that's usually the case, cheap tools don't last but sometimes you get lucky, I have my cheap hot air station which lasted 2 years of heavy use, on the other hand my previous cheap station broke after 2 weeks :)
