Good video, your analysis is spot on except for the part where you said they weren't bombs. Beterbiev's power on those short thudding punches is unreal, so many sparring stories have surfaced over the years. He's a freak.
Absolutely. I think I was trying to make that point but did it poorly. I meant to highlight the difference in technique. Artur was not throwing "bombs" so to speak but was landing sharp, short, and thudding shots. If you come across more sparing stories, drop the link please!
Beterbiev's team trained to move to the right to nullify joe's big right hand. and that's the hardest joe's been hit... he was hospitalized with a concussion and we still haven't heard from him. Beterbiev's the strongest LHW in boxing history
@@imperiumboxing4385 Yes… he knocks durable opponents out with short arm punches partially blocked grazing the top of the head. If opponents lay on the ropes and allow him to get his hip behind his punches they can knock opponents out even if blocked. He put former champ Gvozdyk into the hospital and early retirement and most of his sparring partners go home never to return. His camp doesn’t allow media to film him sparring.
I honestly don't think he was mentally prepared. It more than likely wouldn't have mattered but I expected more from Joe as a well training champion defending his title and looking to take the belts.

Excellent review. Good eye on those details. I didn’t really know how sloppy Smith looked until now. 🥊
Nice work

Yes, I listened to a sparing partner say it was the worst experience of his life. He likened it to getting hit by car
At the age of 37 Beterbiev has not experienced any decline at all, is more agile, faster, more accurate
Arthur 👑 Beterbiev

I was not aware he was hospitalized. No doubt Beterbiev can punch hard and places them so well.

I think Beterbiev is the best P4P puncher in boxing
Boxers beat Bangers. Awkward fighters give boxers trouble. Bangers beat awkward fighters
And Beterbiev beat all of the above.Have a nice day,my good Patrick
Artur Beterbiev is 2 times olympic champ
Yes, he's likely the best LHW fighting right now.
2x Olympic?

you cannot wind up and throw a hook.
Joe looked very slow in this fight.
I beat he thought he could just power punch his way through this one.
