recently started to use this truck for work and this blue tooth is needlessly complicated lmao. sat outside the jobsite for 10 minutes then went fuck it and drove home. thanks to this i can actually hook up my phone
Thanks so much for this. I was having such a hard time pairing my iphone 5 with my 2013 Tundra. It was driving me crazy. After watching this video I got it done smoothly and in seconds.
I've dealt with numerous Bluetooth devices in my life and I must say, this has got to be the absolute worst and most non user friendly system I've ever used. To force this voice technology crap down people's throat without having an alternate way to hook it up manually is absolute garbage. If I'm 24 and couldn't figure this out, what chance does someone like my dad have who is 53. I would say that the majority of people who own this truck have never paired their phone before because of the horrible technology
I've got a 13 tundra. The phone will pair and I can listen to pandora or youtube thru the trucks audio but when phone is in operation it will not come through the speaker. You have to hold the phone and talk thru normal. The media works bur not the Bluetooth phone. I've tried and tried. Spent several hours. It shouldn t be this hard to do this Bluetooth setup. Eventually someone will have an accident and bring about litigation with Toyota, then maybe they will fix this issue. Hopefully they do this before there is loss of life.
I think that what is being called E.T. is actually E.D. not erectile dysfunction lol, but extra dimensional. I agree that they are demonic, or the "fallen angels," referred to in Genesis. If you aren't familiar with Tom Horn I think his works would be a point of interest.
Stephen I feel the same way you do .Pairing this phone sucks and Did everything they said and the dealer couldn't even do it . Keeping truck getting new phone or no phone it's a lot less people bothering me
Ernie, did you ever figure it out? I bought 2013 Tundra used, had to buy a Bluetooth ready cell which I did and my provider hooked it up and it was fine until several days ago when it would not connect ... I took it back to the provider and they couldn't get it to connect either .... I am over 3 hours travel time from where I bought the truck .... help!
Did all of that even before watching the video and even though the phone says connected, the truck says no phone is paired see phone. I love my truck but this is the hardest pairing I've encountered yet. Still working on it. :(

No it will not pair with my wife's cell. I need to take her cell to the dealer at the next service. She drives it the most. I just got the new Samsung Galaxy note 4. I'll try that one next time I get a opportunity. I'm a or trucker and I'm hardly home, so it could be awhile.

nice
This method does not pop up on the phone to enter the passcode. It does it to pair for music but not phone calls.
What do u do if it doesn’t pop up on any type of phone. Should this be paired before u set up Bluetooth for music or what?
I am unable connect my audio (music) but unable to use my phone and cannot connect it. The system is very user unfriendly.

Stephen Fryer Thanks, please let me know if that works - my dealer is quite a ways from my home so any suggestions appreciated.
I already have a phone connected, how do ai remove that one and add a new one?
Why does it never automatically connect to my phone its annoying to have to go through all the setting again just to connect it everytime i drive
I hate the Bluetooth voice control, I want a button to turn it off and on
pro tip, put music on a USB drive and use that
I added my phone & it deletes my husband's iPhone pairing. Is only one device allowed?
