- In December 2022 I purchased a new Dwelt planer for my shop. I have been using it on the floor and needed to make a mobile cabinet. I wanted the cabinet to be mobile, have storage space, and be cost effective. All of these I accomplished.
This was the first time I used store bought drawer runners.

I love how relatable you are. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stopped to try to figure out if I’ve screwed up or not lol. Great design. I don’t have a planer but may make something like this for benchtop bandsaw I bought today.

I felt like I was watching myself when I built my first shop cabinet, trying to figure out if I had the pocket holes wrong (which I did at times), the challenge of doing drawer slides for the first time, etc. I know there was a lot more work than what you put in the video! My shop floor isn't very flat so I might have a perfect height outfeed table in one spot but an entirely different story a few feet away.
Haha, I hope that’s a good thing🤣. Yeah there was a lot more to the drawers. I learned a lot but it wasn’t to bad. I probably should of watched a video or two first lol. Thanks for watching Jim!
