At around 5:47 it actually was supposed to be 5p>6p, not command grab. I also don’t play this “rough” but papaleo didn’t stop me so I kept the train rolling
Nago can be annoying, but I think what people fail to realize is that if you are playing a character with a secondary resource. The decision making process is heavily predicated on that resource. Its the same reason why people go on the offensive against ramlethal with both her blades gone, why zato has a huge opening for those who waste it, and why jack-o with no minions or meter is a sitting duck. A fighting game mantra I've grown into as someone who can go long sets getting my ass beat is that if its working and beating me its my job to figure it out. Last comment since im a bit wordy is that since Nago has good damage but more health to play with than his opponent normally which makes the micro decisions that lead up to the macro end result that much more important. Like it was said in the video if you are a high roller, characters who have strong punishment will thrive off of your mistakes. I'm no strong strive player or anything but the logic behind it is solid and demands adjustments which is the core principle of fighting games.
This is genuinely so helpful, the high level analysis and editing is on point in this video! This helps me understand both as a new Nago and someone who struggles against Nago what to do!
@@ignis488 Do I realize Ky uses throw like almost everyone else (Pot being the sole exception) and uses dash specials? Yep, I do. Yeah, as a fellow Nago main, i do not understand why people get scared and back off from Blood Rage Nago (if they don't see a clear win or get pushed back by the activation). Like, Nago is as weak as he's ever gonna be and sure, he might swing like mad and have better slash/H.slash, but all you need to do is get in there and get a grab. block and fish for a punish, or counter hit.

@@PlagueFather Oh that's just from rc slowdown. Normally they don't combo at all. There's also situations where if they are in the air and 2k hits them high enough you can get cS too
I think part of why Nago is so frustrating/powerful is that he adds an extra layer of gameplay. At a high level of play, watching the blood gauge is probably a very reasonable piece of match-up strategy, but as a new player fresh to fighting games, man, I still have to stop and look at my controller like ' why the **ck did I just jump?'. Watch my **opponents** blood gauge? Yeah, no. I'm still staring at my pad trying to figure out why my character just jumped. Putting this here as a a way for more people to understand why Nago can be frustrating, not as a reason for Nago to be hit with the nerf gun.
