Don't upgrade the engine. I Upgraded to the tier 4 engine and even with the best propeller it only goes 6.5 Knotts. I was getting 9.5 out of the Tier 1 engine.

You should check out fishing North Atlantic if you haven’t. It’s made by the same people and fully fleshed out. It doesn’t have some of the stuff this game does but it’s got a lot of quality of life stuff.
An unmanned captain chair in a commercial boat is a 30.000 euros fine in the netherlands. pretty sure Norway is more! Shame on you, Trevor! Love the series! im so gonna buy this game when its a bit more stable!
I think with picking up trash, you should turn off the engine and stop right next to the trash bags every time. That way you don't have rush and be affraid you're gonna hit something.
That "boat with the lines" is a fishing trawler the other one I'm not sure possibly cargo or ferry boat..the blue boat I believe would be a deep sea fishing boat (lobster crab etc)
So in one mission you got paid 35,000 NOK which converted into USD would be $3,313.12 which is insane for picking up trash and also that means you paid $4,733.03 USD for that boat
Fair warning I'm obsessed with this game and we're going to be playing a lot of it this week lol
