Honestly, this series is the PURE definition of insanity: they keep doing the same shit on a different island, expecting a different outcome. That outcome never happens. 🥲
There's a cut scene of Roland the T-Rex hunter defending a waitress that was being harassed by fighting a man with one hand tied behind his back. It adds a lot more to his character. The guy with the jean jacket and hat is an actual dinosaur expert I remember as a kid, he was so excited to be killed by a T-Rex in this lol. Eddie is the true hero of this movie certainly. The entire T-Rex rampage in the city was just Spielberg having fun and not in the book, he has every right. "How many Sarah's do you think are on this island??" Gets me every time 😂
They should have left that scene in, really enhances his character. Sure there was his saving the guys from the cliff side, checking if Sarah was injured and grief over the loss of his friend (which also would have been enhanced).
Another nice touch to that point of how many Sarahs do you think are on this island is when they are calling out for Nick in the compound and Malcolm shouts "Nick Van Owen!"
Yeah....I always thought that he was a pretty decent guy, if you took out the 'must kill animals b/c manhood" thing, and he even had a saying for that that.....made sense. I don't agree with it, but it makes sense.
Please do the entire series. All the way through the end of Jurassic World. People give JP III crap, but it’s good. Super under appreciated. It’s worth the trip til the end!
@@biancaeze14 Definitely better than JW II. The first JW is my favorite, of course-I waited my whole adolescence and part of my adult years for that movie. Lol.
I'm so happy you mentioned your blood pressure, cause I was LITERALLY going to tell you to take a Xanax or something to calm you down. The more movies you watch in the series, the more stressed you DEFINITELY will be. Lmfao
Crazy that you mention Timmy being a WWII vet because later on in life the actor plays in a great WWII show called The Pacific as Eugene Sledge lmao you should check it out it’s about the pacific theatre when the US fought the Japanese
34:01 I think it was the death of his partner/best friend to make him realize it you know there’s actually deleted scene from the movie I feel like should have been in there with his best friend telling him about this job.
I'm sorry, but if a Tyrannosaurus rex (or any predator) stuck its head in my tent while I was asleep, I'd be pissing/shitting myself. I also feel so bad when Eddie gets Lady & The Tramped by the male and female Tyrannosaurs. SIDE NOTES: 1. There are 3 popular theories on what the dorsal plates of the Stegosaurus were used for: A.) Warding off any potential predators B.) Interspecies recognition C.) Regulation of body temperature 2.) Earlier paleontologists thought that the dorsal plates of the Stegosaurus were for defense, but now it's thought that the tail spikes (also called thagomizers) served that purpose *3.) It was thought that the Stegosaurus' brain was more or less the size of a walnut, but now the theory is that their brain was roughly the size of a lime.* 4. Like all other Hadrosaurs, scientists believe that the Parasaurolophus (the dinosaur that Roland called Elvis) could use their crests to make hooting noises to call each other.
It's crazy that Santa (Richard Attenborough, Miracle on 34th Street) Odin (Richard Schiff, God of War Ragnarök) Loki (Vince Vaughn, Hercules) Zeus (Jeff Goldblum, KAOS) Count Dracula, Lucifer & Czernobog (Peter Stormare, The Batman vs. Dracula, Constantine, American Gods) are all in this.
So at the end of this, of course the world 'learns it's lesson' to leave these animals alone on the island. The 3rd one involves another rescue mission after tourists accidently get stuck there. The juassic world series has plots all their own that are in a small way tied to the original trilogy. They are all fun. Some better than others but all worth a watch! If you want more info on how the two trilogies are connected (it is VERY suttle!) there is a whole lot of lore available on youtube that explains it.
"Where you're going is the only place in the world where the geese chase YOU." Uhhhhh Dr Malcom has clearly never encountered a goose before in his entire life, has he.....'cause he has no idea how geese operate.
All the San Diego shenanigans are the bonus round. You can feel the movie was done after the Velociraptor fight climax - 3 acts complete. Spielberg just was not coming back for thee third movie and thought "Well, I might just as well film T-Rex rampaging the city".
I love how even when making a T. rex rampage through the city, they still make the effort to justify why an actual animal would behave like this - it's just drugged out of its mind because they rushed to wake it up from aenesthesia. The first two movies don't just treat the dinosaurs like movie monsters, and I think this level of care and attention to detail is part of why they're so much better than the rest.
One of the biggest plot holes for me has always been how Malcolm was apparently made out to be crazy to the public for speaking out about dinosaurs and the experience from the first movie. And then now Ingen wants to bring dinosaurs back to the mainland and open a park. Would that not just give credibility to Malcom’s account?
You should definitely do the whole series. Just like this one wasn't as good as the first, none of the others are either, but just like this one was still a lot of fun and worth a watch, all of the others are as well.
so glad you started watching this series, literally my fave movies ever. hope you can do Jurassic Park III soon, it’s my fave of the bunch! always love your reactions man
There is a deleted scene (that is frequently shown in TV broadcasts), where Roland and Ajay are at a bar in Kenya. Roland has grown bored with hunting dangerous animals and Ajay convinces him to go on one final hunt. They had been hunting partners for many years, which is why Roland is devastated after learning of Ajay's death. The whole San Diego thing was not in the original novel. The book simply has the characters escaping Isla Sorna, with the dinosaurs destined to become extinct again (there was a deadly virus afflicting them). JP3 was review-bombed upon its release, but has aged surprisingly well. Grant is tricked into going to Isla Sorna by a couple whose son had gone missing while on an unauthorized parasailing trip to the island.
This was a lot of fun! Sure hope you watch the rest. The 'magic' of the dinosaurs is kind of lost after the first three, but the Jurassic World trilogy is fun in its own ways.
Jurassic Park III is definitely worth watching. Jurassic World is okay, also worth watching. Very different vibe from the original trilogy. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is pretty bad, but had some fun sequences when I watched it at the cinema. Jurassic World: Dominion is absolutely atrocious. Just ridiculously bad... A lot of people disliked JP3 when it released, but it's funny how the last two Jurassic movies have put everything into perspective. They've retroactively improved a lot of people's perception of it.
The first two movies are great and hold a special place in my heart. You should watch the other ones too if you want to, but in total honesty they aren't that great. Not bad, Jurassic World for example is fine and enjoyable, but no cinema classics.
Love your reactions! And Jurassic Park 3 is a good one, you should definitely watch that one. I think opinions are more mixed on the Jurassic World films - personally think the stories are good but the casting is off, but you're here now so... :D
Good call on the Compy venom! It was never showcased in the movie but Compys had venomous saliva in the books. It had a numbing paralytic effect when bitten but I won’t mention who fell victim to them though! 😏
The perspective is kinda weird looking down river when Sarah gets close to the stegosaurus infant. But she gets cutoff by a patrolling adult and forces her towards the other adults and the alpha of the group(I assume the alpha is the one that runs her down into the log or may have been the one that cut her off from escape).
Legs does a really cool jurassic park game it includes all movies up to the newer jurassic world movie, it's cool and takes a fair amount of time to complete
"Put 7 figures on the table and I'm rolling that dice" I guess somebody can't argue with the plot of Jurassic Park 3 now. Still stupid but too tempting to not try.
It's a tie in with the book where raptors and compies were getting off the island by stowing away on the ships. Folks got eaten by the Rex AND raptors.
No matter how many times I see it, Eddie's death rubs me the wrong way. Spielberg should've followed his gut and kept him alive like he wanted to. It was Eddie's actor who suggested this to up the ante.
In terms of the series' quality, it's all downhill from here. Once Spielberg is gone, it devolves into schlock. JP3 is kinda watchable if dumb, but the Jurassic World movies are just awful. If you appreciated the smart writing and the ethical questions, there is none of that in later movies. Up to you, but know that the franchise has already peaked.
Dinosaurs aren't lizards. Most animals can swim if they need to, even if they're not specifically adapted for it. And yeah, we have some evidence of what might be dinosaur swimming marks - including T. rex (beautfully depicted in the "Prehistoric Planet" docu series).
I'm guessing we just keep going back to this island huh?
Nope, different island. "You're not making the same mistakes, you're making all new ones!"
Which island was worse, Isla Sorna or Isla Fisher?
🤣😂🤣 That raptor jump scare
Please react to the rest of the movie series.
Honestly, this series is the PURE definition of insanity: they keep doing the same shit on a different island, expecting a different outcome. That outcome never happens. 🥲
"Timmy has the survival instincts of a WWII veteran." Funny you should mention that...
You could even say he marches to his own beat of a different drummer ;)
There's a cut scene of Roland the T-Rex hunter defending a waitress that was being harassed by fighting a man with one hand tied behind his back. It adds a lot more to his character. The guy with the jean jacket and hat is an actual dinosaur expert I remember as a kid, he was so excited to be killed by a T-Rex in this lol. Eddie is the true hero of this movie certainly. I really liked the last Jurassic World!
@@biancaeze14 Definitely better than JW II. The first JW is my favorite, of course-I waited my whole adolescence and part of my adult years for that movie. Lol.
Even Dr. Grant couldn't save JP3 from its writing. That wife was the most annoying character in history. Team T-Rex all the way.
@ OH my god. That mother. I just. Oof. Makes me violent lol. But hell yeah! T-Rex 4 Life 🤘🏼
Jp3 is still better than all 3 jws
Jurassic Park III is one of my faves of all the JP films, just some great sets
Poor Eddie. He didn't deserve that
To this day the way Eddie went out still sticks with me; the movie done him some dirty.
That jumpscare was hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣 When I first saw the scene with the raptor, I damn near wet my pants 😂 Love these reactions
I'm so happy you mentioned your blood pressure, cause I was LITERALLY going to tell you to take a Xanax or something to calm you down. The more movies you watch in the series, the more stressed you DEFINITELY will be. Lmfao

It was a really bad idea to delete their introduction scene
CGI was a brand new method in the first movie. By this movie it was much more advanced.
I'm sorry, but if a Tyrannosaurus rex (or any predator) stuck its head in my tent while I was asleep, I'd be pissing/shitting myself. I also feel so bad when Eddie gets Lady & The Tramped by the male and female Tyrannosaurs.

31:39 Jurassic Park jump scares will get ya eventually😂😂😂😂

Timmy and his WW2 Survival instincts he can't get killed if he tried, got me dying laughing.
Now that's called Plot Armor!
🤣

2:17 PERFECT transition.

That "Jesus!" and the fall out of the chair when that velociraptor popped in at 39:42 had me screaming! 😂😂😂
14:30 "sabotage" is originally french you're right!
Jurassic peak
Safari with a rich dentist is too real. My childhood dentist was the one who killed Cecil the lion after the lion was lured off the reserved.
That was such a cool camera zoom at 24.40 showing the prospective of the dinosaurs.
34:29 yes please keep going.
Your reactions. I love it when it heats up and you get dead serious and freaked out. Love it!!!!!!!

Love you reaction bro
Can’t wait for Jurassic Park 3 reaction

the making of Jurassic Park 1 & 2 are on youtube last time i checked and they're pretty interesting!
17:35 Gotta lighten the mood somehow.
Please keep going! You asked where everyone else was during the events of this one - three answers that!
Yup 31:41 you the jump scare…. ⚰️
The lost world was my favorite jurassic park movie as a kid and it's the best sequel in the jurassic park franchise
You jump scared by the raptor right at the daughter's head!!!!!! YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! RIGHT OUT OF YOUR CHAIR!!!!!!!!! EPIC!!!!!!!!! 💕💕💕💕🤣🤣🤣🤣
JP 3 was the movie that i watched the most growing up! I love it so much and hope you end up watching it also!
18:53 fun fact that’s what the T-Rex did in the first movie with the jeep.
This was a lot of fun! Sure hope you watch the rest. The 'magic' of the dinosaurs is kind of lost after the first three, but the Jurassic World trilogy is fun in its own ways.

just out of work and i see a new vid! good timing!
awesome video! hopefully you watch the rest of them too. keep up the great work!
Definitely do the 3rd one. It's good and you get to see the rest of the original people!
definitely watch the next two, they're very enjoyable
Keep watching them I'm loving ur reactions
They are not actually Velociraptors because they were much smaller. These were actually Deinosychus wich means 'Terrible Claw'.
Dang I haven’t seen this movie in a long time but can we talk about the props and animatronics wow 🤩
I’m begging you watch the other 4 films 🙏🏼
Love your reactions! And Jurassic Park 3 is a good one, you should definitely watch that one. I think opinions are more mixed on the Jurassic World films - personally think the stories are good but the casting is off, but you're here now so... :D

Yes please do all the Jurassic movies.
The sass in this movie 😂 is great

Number 3 is more than worth it too 👀
"Put 7 figures on the table and I'm rolling that dice"
I guess somebody can't argue with the plot of Jurassic Park 3 now. Still stupid but too tempting to not try.
Jurassic Park 3 is my favourite one
31:42
This is my favorite one
If the TRex got loose on the ship and the captain got eaten, how did only the hand lock it back in the hold?
It's a tie in with the book where raptors and compies were getting off the island by stowing away on the ships. Folks got eaten by the Rex AND raptors.
Yeah the entire boat plot point makes no goddamn sense as presented in the movie.
"I need to pee a bit". XD
Oh please react to the rest of them ❤
Bro you should def react to the last of us series or the walking dead im tuned in keep them coming ‼️
I'd feel bad for Deiter if he was a likable character but since he is not I won't. Also why didn't he just fire his rifle into the air?
I wonder if the next movie wich is shooting right now is about Side C... (Tipp: Play JP Evolution)
5:07 but he’s not motivated by greed.
There's a baby. Of course there's two.
❤🎉
No matter how many times I see it, Eddie's death rubs me the wrong way. Spielberg should've followed his gut and kept him alive like he wanted to. It was Eddie's actor who suggested this to up the ante.
This is one of those rare instances of the movie being far better than the book that spawned it (in my opinion) the second novel was…meh
Carter was Pedro Pascal's first role.
uh ?
Pls do jp3
In terms of the series' quality, it's all downhill from here. Once Spielberg is gone, it devolves into schlock. JP3 is kinda watchable if dumb, but the Jurassic World movies are just awful. If you appreciated the smart writing and the ethical questions, there is none of that in later movies. Up to you, but know that the franchise has already peaked.
U should start the marvel franchise
Jurassic Park 3 is genuinely pretty good so give it a shot.
Imo III is the best I'M SORRY
