Excellent review Trent, agree with you from a to z .👍👍 As a proud owner of one of this gems: AMAZING HORN. This horn is so efficient, intonation is superb(!!), stunnnning design and the copper bell offers amazing colors, from dark to bright... The response, slotting and dymamic spectrum are fantastic, from ppp to fff (the sound never breaks). I can add few things... It`s a modern horn, very clear, direct and "produced sound" - this beauty loves the microphone, trust me. With the instrument you have many options (it comes with two slides) + with a standard bottom hexagonal cap on the 3rd valve. If you combine the slides + hexagonal cap (6 combinations in total) you can change the response of the instrument. With that, if you check the additional accessories (clappers, dynasound,...) you can customize it even more. SUPER HORN.
I am curious about the copper bell. Really the durablility of the copper in instrument making. Copper is a sift metal. Are copper parts of any instrument more susceptible to damage and dings than a silver plate, brass, or any of the other materials use to make a brass bodied instrument. I would imagine that the size of a trumpet makes the bells a little more safe than says a tenor saxophone or trombone. I see saxes with copper necks and bells as well. This trummpet is fantastic. My fist thought when I heard you play it was "I would have loved to have heard Maynard Ferguson play this." I bet if I had, my ears would still be ringing. This is a great sounding trumpet. I will bet that with the right mouthpiece, this trumpet would work almost anywhere. I am really glad you did a video on this instrument. It is a great sounding trumpet, but then again Mr. Austn could make a lead pipe sound great and quite possibly perfectly in tune.

Thank you! Cheers!
Trent,
Would you rank the intonation of this trumpet in the top 5 of all bflat trumpets you have played?
What ever happened to wild thing?
Does anyone know what the song is that he plays at 7:20?
