You know, there's a lot going wrong in this world, and a sizable amount of it on this website, but this dad who's just trying to fix his son's pajamas is monumentally grateful that there is such a person as the zipper lady who knows all the tricks to zippering and then puts videos of it out for the world to see when they need to fix their son's pajamas.
I was on a deadline making a bag and in the middle of the project the zipper came off the tape.Tried for a long time to get it on but it wasn't happening. I ordered a zipper jig online - when it arrived it was the wrong size. Saw this video and got my fork and clamp and voila' - my zipper is back on the tape! Many many years ago I saw your video. I remembered I had this zipper roll I bought at the Pacific International Quilt Show in my bottom drawer. I could never figure out how to attach the darn pulls so there it sat for years. Your video fixed all that. Works like a charm. My mother-in-law gave me her mother's silver set and has beautiful salad forks. That's what I use. Thank you again

Last week I saw a similar video with the fork and clamp, but your explanation of where the tines actually slot in on the zipper slide is the first time I’ve seen that explained, so it makes sense why my technique wasn’t successful as the fork I was using definitely do not conform as you explained! I came over to thank you for this video! I bought a greenhouse with a plastic cover. The zipper completely separated, and because of the size of the greenhouse, a replacement cover isn't available. I was able to put it back together and then I superglued the top so it doesn't come apart again. Thanks! :)
