Devotion to Custody and Heart in Custody are actually the same painting. Devotion to Custody turns into Heart in Custody when you view the "Sinister Painting" in the hide and seek room.
Hi, just wanted to note that I have fixes available for the game for the glitch I mentioned before, Blessed Bride/Groom not working, along with two other ones: 1. The head and body of a doll that Garry can kick (they're supposed to in the lower-left corner of the violet room of the exhibition, around 8:52 of the video) 2. Grieving Bride's Left/Right Hand Ask me if you want the game fixed for these.
You get this room by clearing a game with the following conditions. - Complete the secret dungeon. You will find the black key near the secret dungeon exit, which is the key to open the gallery. - Ib must be able to escape from the Fabricated World in the end.
In that case, open the game for editing in RPG maker, and click on "Gray Space". The first area it brings up is the area with the bride and groom. The name plates should be highlighted in pink. Right-click on either of those and edit the events. The Switch in tab 2 for each of those should be set to blessed bride/groom rather than bride/groom. save the map, and now the paintings will work after you read them.
That is actually false. You can get in the secret dungeon despite Garry being dead or not. You can get the last variation of Ib All Alone only when Garry is dead though.
Examining the Blessed Bride and Groom pictures makes the Sorrowing Bride and Groom appear in the true gallery. This can be fixed if you have RPG Maker 2000, but otherwise there's no way to get those two to show up. There's also a pretty fun exhibit that got dummied out for some reason, if you know where to look.
not sure if anybody said this already, but to get the blessed bride and blessed groom to show up, you need to look at the hands after you put on the ring and/or get the bouquet. the name changes to blessed brides left/right hand, respectively~~
Hmm....now that you mentioned it....you know what? I kinda forgot that now. OTL I remember getting Heart in Custody, but not Devotion to Custody. I just check every stuffs in the game, so I really don't remember how did I get that portrait. I'm sorry. (_ _)
I don't think you can since a picture like the Forgetten Portrait requires you to go to that ending. Which will make Ib unable to read the name of the paintings in the secret dungeon. Beside, I think you might have to play the second time to go to the secret dungeon.
I just checked everything I could. And I'm pretty sure that you can't take Garry to that one as well, like you said. Maybe you need to choose to stare at it? (when you played as Ib) Sorry that I could not help much. D:
I think it's a flaw in programming which prevent those two pictures from showing up, which makes you have to edit the game with RPG Maker to get it work.
how did you get the painting "Bashful Glance?" It's impossible to go where he is with garry because the mannequin head prevents the passage. how did you do to get it?

I think the game got updated, I saw some videos of Ib having a newer ending like, "The Sacrifice." Though, I was hoping if you could show us how to get such ending? I deleted the app and it took some time downloading it so.... Could you do it? If you don't want to, it's alright. I'm not forcing ya to do it. :3
True Ending is not necessary, you can unlock the gallery by getting any ending that Ib is able to escape, with a condition that you MUST clear the secret dungeon.
Where did you get the Devotion to custody? I went over the grey area so many times, and yet I still can't find it, and it's the only piece I'm missing.
This has been so long so I'm not 100% sure here. But apparently if you have not seen the Sinister Painting (Hanged Ib?) this picture will be in the Gray area, in place of the "Heart in Custody".
So I managed to see all the endings with every artwork and character in the gallery... except for several paintings in the violet room. I didn't know what they were until I saw here they're the paintings that only Garry sees when he's separated from Ib and Mary. It seems for them to appear Ib also has to see the paintings. Problem is every time I try to go down the stairs once you reunite with him he prevents you from going back down. The only way I've had Ib see them is if *SPOILERS* Garry doesn't make it out of the doll room and you're forced to go down with Mary to check on him. The problem is that since you'll get a "bad" ending this way the game won't save your clear data (as you can only do that with endings where you escape the gallery) so therefore it doesn't count toward anything. *END OF SPOILERS* So.. the question is how do I get Ib down the stairs to look at the paintings in Garry's area while still getting one of the "good" endings?
You can get good end with Garry being dead though, and that ending is "Forgotten Portrait" which I consider as the worst good ending. Another one is "Together Forever" which is one of my favorite. Also, since failing the doll room add 2 doom/death point for Garry. You could still prevent Garry's death even if you fail the doll room (3 death/doom point will lead to Garry's death). More detail could be found in ending guide video.

I wanted to see all the endings and so glazed endlessly over all the rules and points and how to earn/lose them, and forgot that if you avoid 'despair'-inducing events before the doll room event (all two of them - the 'sinister portrait' in the stick figure hide-n-seek room, which I think is supposed to be a painting of Ib mutilated? and also the really creepy transformation the one room takes when you decide not to stop Garry from smashing the mannequin head) you can get away with two points and still make it out of the museum. Failing to find the key in the doll room event (btw I played this god knows how many times in a row and I've since become numb to most of the 'creepy' aspects but that doll room countdown has consistently freaked me out with each and every playthrough... the deepening bell sounds, the color of the room, oh yeah the giant doll slowly crawling its way out toward you, Ring-style, eek, but I digress) I read counts for two points. So anyway I tried your method and it worked! I not only got the rest of the portraits finally but got to see some new dialogue scenes as well (btw there are so many games esp. nowadays that love to slap on the bullet point that "choices you make have consequences" when for most of such games they barely do; now THIS is a game where choices matter! Every possible decision you make, even the seemingly insignificant ones, has a great impact on how your game progresses and what ending you get, not something I was expecting at all with this game, so that I thought was one of this game's greatest aspects /ramble) so thanks a lot! Someone needs to really put together a guide on how to complete the True Guertena Gallery, since there are a fair number of artworks you have to go out of your way to find.
blackshilen Oh I've already cleared that dungeon twice already (once with just Ib, then I had to go back a second time with Garry to get the names of all the artwork and also to see his amusing reactions to everything around him), like I said it was just a few paintings in the violet-colored room that I couldn't figure out how to access (five of them to be precise), otherwise I believe I found and unlocked everything in the game for the gallery, including the music player and the four characters (mother, father, Mary and Garry) to wander the museum so your little strategy helped quite a bit, so thanks once again!
Did you try talking to it after you already walk past it or something like that? Because I think talking to it is all you can do since you cannot bring Garry to interact with this one.

the sacrifice is just fan made. it's in the green edition version, it's easy to get that ending: don't kill Mary, that's it!
