If everyone is complaining about Wheeler's legit goal, why didn't Anderson just poke check him, he was a foot in front. Instead he stuttered and did nothing.
@@unacceptablecodyberg1402 probably that the upcoming "cyberattacks" are genuine and not at all pre-planned to suit the great reset framework and/or that the will smith slap wasnt a fake to create a stir to sell some dumbass Pzifer product.
For the final goal as long as the shooter is continuing forward towards the goal then the goal counts. In this case, when you slow down the last shot to 1/4 speed you can see that the shooter continues to move forward (at a very slow pace but he is still moving towards the goal) with the puck. So that's why it's still a goal even though when you look at it at regular speed it's very easy to believe that the goal shouldn't count (because he practically stops near the end in terms of his speed).
@@MotoLife94 Nah, it really does look like a full stop when you watch it at regular speed. It's understandable, but like the original commentor said, you can see Wheeler didn't stop at 1/4 the speed. They're not just *salty*, it's good to question things when they're questionable.
It looked like Wheeler stopped and pulled the puck back before he shot. Seemed like Anderson took issue with it too. Good for the Jets. Sabres are no longer an easy out. Good for them as well.
Absolutely pathetic, even tho jets won the officiating was garbage in overtime. Like c'mon refs if you're gonna be so strict on Dubois on that tap, jets should've had at least two powerplays in OT
@ kevin Bayley. Sure maybe im whining. But all I'm saying if you wanna ref like a textbook pls do it for both teams. Make a fine line what's a penalty or not
So many people already hate the shootout, and goals like that last one give them more ammo to hate on it. I'm not saying he 100% stoped moving forward but it's so difficult to tell either way and it happens more and more often and never gets called. The shooter always gets the benefit of the doubt. I hated ties and wanted the shootout so so bad as a kid once they put it in I wasn't a kid anymore but gave it a chance because like I said I hated ties. I like that the NHL has been proactive about tweaking OT to make it more entertaining but I'm starting to think more and more old school with crap like that last goal. And by the way i bet on Winnipeg tonight so I wanted that to go in.
@@MotoLife94 thanks for the insult!!!! Computer tough guys always make me laugh. It's not obvious at all. I'm not saying he didn't stop. It was too close to tell. It does look like his skates are shifting back and forth rather than in motion. He probably just barely stopped but whatever it's a close debatable call and that's hockey for you.
I don't understand how that final goal wasn't reviewed. It really looks to me like the puck stops progressing towards the goal line. That last stick-handle looks like it's either straight sideways or even slightly backwards.
@@captainjack3166 you could say that for sure? Because I'd say it's very very close either way. His last movement to me looked like he moved to the right after he stopped progressing forward. That would be illegal. But it's close like you say but I'm not positive about it but somehow you seem to be so sure!!! Congrats on that I guess. By the way I was rooting for the Jets in this game..
The puck does not have to continue going forward. The shooter himself has to keep their forward momentum and he came almost to a stop but not quite so it’s a good goal.
@@jasondashney This is a quote from section 24.2 of the 2021-22 NHL rulebook: The Referee shall have announced over the public address system the player designated by him or selected by the team entitled to take the shot (as appropriate). The puck must be kept in motion towards the opponent’s goal line and once it is shot, the play shall be considered complete.
@@IAMTHEJUGGERNATE Interesting. I wonder if they changed it. I remember years ago when guys where doing the spin-o-rama and that meant the puck went backwards and it was a whole deal.
