@PosInTech, How we can remove this theme(back to default) once installed?
It look cool man., Will it work on ubuntu 24.04 with gnome 46...???
Conky is inredible tool however i don't know if everything that comes with conkey by default when conky is installed is fully updated and by that i mean widgets because it was pain in the neck to make it work back then and it involved something with lua so conky can work with older widgets that weren't updated to work with newer version of conky, can't remeber what exactly i do remember problem was with conky manager.
Bro everything is fine and work correctly instead of clock i follow you every single point but its not working
This is a great tutorial. One question/issue...the date information is cut in half. I can only see he top half of the letters and numbers. How can i fix this?
Bro time is not displaying.... Plz help me regarding this issue....
Hi can you do something for all Linux DE? im on Solus Budgie please
0:44 when we have monitor without bezel it would look like that
7:41 installing debian and put these and change wallpaper to ubuntu. i have ubuntu stable
Bro I followed every step as shown but encounters a problem.
The clock and the day comes to the home screnn with a delay and also sometimes the clock is showing sometimes the day is showing.
Can you help me with this?
In my case, clock is showing and day is not showing...any solution?
Hey, thanks for the great tutorial! But I've noticed that the time of the clock is in AM/PM. How to set it to a 24h-clock?
settings
@@birunicorporationyou are Genius
@@birunicorporation Nope, in my settings, it is set to 24h
@@tomelegeert2037 i dont get your comment.
@@birunicorporation In the Ubuntu-settings, my clock is set to 24h-view. But the Conky-clock always shows a 12h-view. How can I change this? Something in the conkyrc_time file? But I don't see where I can change this.
Very nice 😊❤
my startup application isnt showing the script file
What is wrong with stock ubuntu? If all i do is use terminal or watch fullscreen movie or browse internet??
I started with my Linux adventure on Ubuntu and I cant say that is smooth and better than Windows, is like building your own house with some objects, furniture, electronic things, etc so, the same for Linux, modifying your desktop is one of the best things to get your things and productivity to the "limits" and make you focus
hey i cant load the widgets plz help
Tell me one thing. Why do so many of the Ubuntu variants - just list "Ubuntu" in the boot menu - RATHER than the specific Distrobution Name .... ? Crazy for a multiboot system.
I dont linked, you exclude top bar :-/
bro, i have some trouble, i do same as you doing to make widget, but in my computer it's not working. how i do can solve it?
Restart then try
should the customization affect the functioning of my vs code
nop!
Hi I have little stupid question "Why is it now impossible to show the desktop files on the desktop?"
BECAUSE IT NOT WINDOWS
&
YES
YOUR QUESTION IN REALLY STUPID
@@you-can-t-get-know-me yes but why do they remove a feature which existed in the past
Bro day widget not working in my device
How about Linux mint? Can I make that with my Linux mint it to?
Linux mint has an ubuntu based package management system called Debian so you'd be able to do that.
bro sudo apt install conky isn't working....."E: package 'conky' has no installation candidate"
try these:
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt install conky-all
worked for me
Can linux mint do this
I like to munch this title :
Transform your Linux to a crappy clone of Windows11.
what is this distro
Ubuntu
How to uninstall this
what professional is using ubuntu? ~.~
Many.
Well considering Ubuntu is Debian based a lot of business that want a well tested and stable system that doesn't change that often suits a lot of businesses oppose to something that might be potentially unstable like Arch.
A down system due to a bad update in some industries can be costly due to downtime. It just comes down to what the needs are.
I do for web dev and some graphics with Gimp! As it I have the SAME version and the same configuration of the web server and of PHP, and MySQL on my Laptop and on the Ubuntu server. So no bad surprise when updating PHP files and MySQL requests...
NASA for one
I went from linux mint to Ubuntu somehow the fuck😂😂
🤣
@@mrsharmajirealno you cant because ubuntu uses gnose as its desktop environment and linux mind uses cinnamon Desktop environment.
If you want to replicate just the way it looks i suggest you try KDE distros
I can use a other wallpaper?
yes, of course
Okay
I'm sorry but real professional look it's when you have only a window manager like a Linus had in 1990s, not this modern unstable non-optimized shit
mac x windows = linux
😄
I am sorry for beign that guy, but no professional makes his desktop looks like that. A real professional wants his machine to run smooth, fast and with minimal garbage packages, doing absolutly nothing. This type of videos are just part of the child obsession of most (desktop) linux users spending hours of "customizing" their systems but with 0 practical knowledge.
utter nonsense. if you’re doing it right you never see the desktop. i’ve not seen my desktop in months, i’m actually doing things instead of staring at a blank screen.
😢
Everything is nice, except the chrome bull$#1+
get a firefox, or brave...
Firefox, yes. Brave no. Might as well use Chrome then.
@@tristen_grant idk man whats wrong with brave ? i use edge tho i used brave before it had nothing wrong with it
@@user-nh3dc9dk5r Take the mask off, it's chrome under (chromium). That's why he's saying might as well use chrome.
why chrome is bullshit, can u explain, i m new in this tech jounrey?
@@LearnerAbhi21 from a browser stand point it's dope but it does not respect your privacy at all and most of the users here value their privacy and don't want every little thing they do getting sent to google
What makes a desktop look professional or not? 😂😂🤦♂️
Gnome sucks!!
can we keep these shitty copy paste "give your desktop a clean and professional look" videos for windows only?
