you can edit the panel by right clicking it and dragging the apps to the center

Yo, So i am missing the bar at the bottom middle of the screen to place applications. Also My location and weather are not popping up. I have the area for them but they are just saying null instead of location.

Had the same issue, make sure you have installed plank then on terminal type "plank --preferences" you'll get option menu for the app tray

dont follow this guide i repeate dont follow this guide it will completly break cinnamon it will force it into light mode , it has weird spacing you cant change and your menu is going to be hidden and all minimized apps will disappear

I HATE HATE HATE Cinnamon...but if it came like THIS out of the Box, it would be a GAME CHANGER. They should just do this! Especially Linux Mint.

Nice Customization, i downloaded the Documentation from Kofi but i had the feeling that you missed very important configuration steps in it.
Like the positioning of the Equalizer, or the configuration for the Weather API. It took me some extra Time to figure that out.

Don't try this!!, The bottom taskbar and weather configs don't work. It switches to light theme. It basically has a lot of issues and doesn't work as it's shown on the video. If it worked as intended, it would have been great but it doesn't.

I don t wanna say that you did something wrong or smth else, its prtty nice, but u should ve give all the commands, to fallow all those steps more easily, when i try the last command it didn t work. Maybe i m dumb and i didn t see the commands :)). Overall i like it, keep it up !

@webstwistypuzzle not only task bar. You can find tons of videos with exactly this customization (I watch maaaaany of them, same theme, same task bar, all same) but named like "How to make y Linux look like Mac os"

Didn't work for me. theme isn't worked for me. terminal got light themed and minimize buttons maximize and close buttons didn't updated. how to fix this ? at least i want my default settings back. pls help...

I did all these steps but i didn't get 2 things...
First i didn't get the middle down bar with the apps and Second my theme when i open any app/window is somehow white and still with the (x square _ ) on the left side :'(...

Why the top panel blinks every now and then?
I think it's a graphics issue, I bet it's in a virtual machine as graphics drivers aren't great there
Have not watched the video but i know the results segment of the video would have rivalled or even outclassed the quality of the windows 11 introduction video
And you wouldn't have to sacrifice anything to make it look good, on Windows you could have 75 gigs on idle just to make it look somewhat different than default

It looks great, but you essentialy turned Cinnamon into GNOME :P
